NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS BY SUITE20SEVEN

VALLETTA, MALTA

New Year, New Me…… I’m going to speak my mind FUCK THE CHURCH Oh yes, I said that, and I can because as I write this, I am sitting in a cafe in Valletta, Malta and the Maltese government has just passed a bill which has decriminalised vilification of the church. Finally progress!

It boggles my mind how religious people are given such leeway in today’s society.. For example: A religious man / woman can jump on the train and start shouting beliefs at me and yet no one bats an eyelid.

“HELL FIRE AND DAMNATION” “YOU MUST REPENT FOR OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST”

MATE

the only person that should be feeling remorseful and repenting is you, because you’ve dedicated your entire life to a

FAKE PYRAMID SCHEME.

But yet I digress, this country, this small little country is about to take over the presidency of the European Union and sit atop one of the most powerful committees in the world. It’s exciting, it means change, it means progress. The New Year always brings connotations of fresh starts and new beginnings.

In this NEW YEAR l would like to see us as a millennial generation CHANGE. I’m sick of being in a generation that is labeled as lazy. I am not a basket case and nor are you. We just need to switch off our TVs and close our laptops. We need to realize the illusive carrot is MERELY JUST A MIRAGE, PROJECTED FROM THE MONOPOLY HOUSE which sits above us.

OUR WINDOW TO THE WORLD IS OPEN, THERE’S NO HOOPS, NO OBSTACLES. NOTHING TO HARBOUR US, THE ONLY THING HOLDING US BACK IS OUR OWN MINDS.
