JORGENSEN’S LOFT — The goal of this project was to design a NYC loft for a middle age couple that just moved from Cop enhagen, Denmark. The loft plan is located near the High Line Park. The culture of the Danish people and the Nyhavn canal architecture, heavily drove the concept and design of the loft– the long kitchen, small nooks throughout, and the mixture of old and new.

NEUE HAUS — Neue Haus is a multipurpose space that allows people of all kind to have a space to interact, study, hold meetings, and/or simply have a cup of coffee with his or her favorite baker y item. The space will include a coffee/tea bar with baker y display, a set of sitting options to accommodate different usages, and a semi-private meeting space. A set of tables and a semi-private meeting space is reser vable to ensure ava ilability for client meetings, study, work, and etc. The proposed project is located in downtown Boulder, CO. 5

— The concept of Neue Haus comes from a flower, baby’s breath. Baby’s breath is a simple and a delicate flower. It represents purity, innocence, everlasting love, motherhood, deter mination, and focus.

R E T R E AT AT C H A U TA U Q U A — This project’s goal was to design a nursing facility for those with Huntington’s disease that allows the community to use the first floor spaces that include: cafe, indoor garden, librar y, di ning room, gym, beauty salon, and more. The way-finding was inspired by the French street signs. F I R

FLOOR 1

The wayfinding strategy here is inspired by the street signs of France. The first floor is designated forTHEATER the town center spaces such as administration, entertainment, food and drink, and finally, utility spaces. When entering the building one will be able to find a way through a directory in the form that is shown on the right side. The colors of each arrow correlates to the color of the signage for the spaces– one can see that yellow means spaces such as library, fitness room, and etc. LIBRARY Floor 2 will have a similar distribution of signage for the exception of colors.

M A R K I T D I G I TA L — The concept of transparency was utilized in the open-d esk policy with seating positions to give some privacy in work as well as lockable individual file cabinets. Meeting rooms, staff lounge, and other spaces that do not require complete visual privacy (restrooms, ser vice room, etc.) will also allow light to pass through, revealing to others the purpose of each space. 1 3
