Esperanza comes to Oldham Goodwin Group with a Bachelor of Accountancy from Massey Business College. She has over 20 years of hospitality experience with prior roles as General Manager, Director of Sales, and Regional Director of Sales. Her vast experience includes working with multiple hotel brands, as well as Domestic and International sales.

James Franks | Controller James Franks earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Finance from California State University at Long Beach. As Controller, James oversees accounting operations for the Hospitality, Commercial, Development and Multi-Family divisions. James has over twenty five years of experience in hospitality operations and accounting in hotels at the corporate levels and has worked in Marriott, Hilton, and independent hotels. He started his career in hospitality as a Front Desk Clerk at the Residence Inn in Long Beach California. He has also worked in a myriad of locations, including airports, resorts, and conventions.

Corridor Beautification Partnership The city of Bryan’s Corridor Beautification Partnership is a program that aides business owners in the rehabilitation and beautification of the Texas Avenue Corridor. The goal of this partnership is to use matching funds to renovate and improve the visual impact of the properties along Texas Avenue. With a focus on aesthetics and business vitality, this program aims to stimulate redevelopment to increase sales tax revenues and property values. This year, Oldham Goodwin’s Commercial Management division was awarded a $19,363.00 grant to help fund improvements to the Midtown Center shopping plaza. This amount is intended to fund up to 50% of the cost of updating signage and landscaping, and renovating the building facade.

The 1,700 SF wine and beer driven “true Mediterranean” restaurant will be located at Chimney Hill. The building’s design will utilize glass, stone and industrial elements to ensure a bright, inviting dining experience.

The Republic 1836 Steakhouse After three years of meticulous planning and design, the Republic Steakhouse is finally getting an update! The new property will measure 7,800 SF and will be located directly next to Primrose Path. Owner Wade Barkman ensures the ambitious new property will “be better in every single way”. Both projects are being overseen by Oldham Goodwin’s Development division and have late fall 2018 completion dates.
