GREEN MENUS Thon Hotel Opera Dear guest Thon Hotel Opera offers Green conferences. To cater for a green concept we have composed special menus that contain ecological ingredients and local Norwegian produce. These menus are available from 19th August to 31st March 2014.


Green Conference Menu This menu is available as a 3 course menu exclusively Starter Tartlet filled with onions and local goat cheese Main Course Chicken from Stange, Vestfold in Norway, served with vegetables of the season and fondant potato from Korsvold farm Dessert “Milk & Honey”: Røros milk in the form of ice cream and cream with honey aromas

Price: Included in full board package Alternatively NOK 395,- for guests who stay without full board

Green Banquets Menu This menu is available as a 3 course menu exclusively Starter Terrine of smoked pork with root vegetables and potatoes, served with sabayon sauce with Ægir Porter beer Main Course Beer- braised cheek of veal and fried sirloin of veal from Røros, served with vegetables of the season and potatoes from Korsvold farm Dessert Composition of cranberries, apple and cinnamon ice cream
