For a uniquely local experience, head to Lake Country and visit Kangaroo Creek Farm, a local farm that has been breeding kangaroos and wallabies for over 20 years, and is now open to the public. Indulge in the “agritourism” hot spots like Planet Bee, a working honeybee farm, producing fresh honey, and other beautiful products or Davison Orchards, celebrating farming in Vernon since 1933. For the finest fruits, vegetables, flowers, arts & crafts, visit one of the many Farmer’s Markets that fill the valley. Come support the local artisans and farmers for a real Okanagan experience. Or pit stop along the way at any of the dozens of roadside fruit and veggie stands.
