RELACIONES INSTITUCIONALES INSTITUTIONAL RELATIONS
Durante el año 2013 se dieron muy buenas relaciones entre nuestra organización y otras entidades con objetivos afines a la OINA. Asimismo, la OINA participó en eventos internacionales que le permitieron conocer temas de interés para sus fines y exponer sus puntos de vista.
In 2013 there were very good relations between our organization and other associations with similar objectives to those of the IONA. The IONA also participated in international events that enabled it to find out about topics of interest for its aims and to present its points of view.
ASAMBLEA DE LA OEA En junio de 2013 la OINA fue invitada como organización de la sociedad civil a participar en la XLIII Asamblea General de la Organización de Estados Americanos, realizada en Antigua Guatemala. Nos representaron Rolando Aguirre, de la Secretaría Internacional de Relaciones Institucionales de la OINA y Patricia Muñoz, directora nacional de Guatemala. Durante la Asamblea General se discutieron temas de suma importancia para la región, entre los cuales se encontraba la política frente al problema de las drogas en las Américas.

PARTICIPATION IN THE ASSEMBLY OF THE OAS
In June 2013 the IONA was invited as a civil society organization to take part in the 43rd General Assembly of the Organization of American States held in Antigua Guatemala. We were represented by Rolando Aguirre, from IONA’s International Department of Institutional Relations, and Patricia Muñoz, national director of New Acropolis Guatemala. During the General Assembly matters of great importance for the region were discussed, including the policy towards the drugs problem in the Americas.
