Sound of Belfast is back with a ten-day programme of music, from grassroots through to legends. Presented by the Oh Yeah Music Centre, there will be awards, gigs, showcases and industry events. A celebration of a great music city impressing audiences with new sounds, providing youth and community with access, encouraging participation through workshops and discussing the sector with industry and artists. Celebrating local music past, present and future. Keeping ‘er lit, rocking with the Bonnevilles, marvelling at the talent that is Jealous of the Birds and Malojian, and marking the 20th anniversary of the debut album from Ash. There’s a northern soul night too. Events will take place at The Mandela Hall, The MAC, Voodoo, The Empire, The Eglantine and more. Sound of Belfast is an annual festival. Thanks to our funders, sponsors, audiences and artists for making that possible. Special thanks to Colin Reid for his ongoing support and encouragement. Charlotte Dryden, CEO Oh Yeah Music Centre
