Some classes require students to have special software installed on the computer. Please refer to the class schedule or check with the instructor for additional software requirements. The minimum computer specifications may differ if special software and/or plugins is required. Please check the software’s recommendations. For safety and privacy, keep all versions of the operating system, virus protection, browsers, plug-ins, and software up to date.

What are Online Classes like?

Students enrolled in an online class will access all class materials and complete assignments, quizzes, and tests online. Students are expected to participate in online discussions via bulletin boards, chats, e-mail, or web conferencing. Some classes will also deliver course content via audio/video. Students who are successful in an online environment tend to be highly motivated and self-disciplined.
