Her dark red dam has a birth wt ratio of 97 on 5 calves and a weaning ratio of 98. Her sire has done an excellent job for us and Mohican Farms. His first daughters will calve this spring. This is a calf we’ve liked from day one and, and we think he’s gotten better with age. He puts growth, muscle, and correct structure in an attractive, dark red package. His sire 023R gives him a slightly different pedigree, but one with a high degree of predictability that contributes to the usefulness and marketability of his offspring. He has always been easy going and easily handled. Weight on 12/28/2016 was 1120 lbs. DNA tested heterozygous polled. GE-EPD tested. Certified and Accredited herd.

If you like deep bodied, wide based, thick topped, dark red, and strong maternal based cattle then you’ll like “4D”. We bought into his sire “Right Track” to add thickness and muscle mass, along with a pleasing phenotype while maintaining maternal power. Other breeders around the country are getting the same results with “Right Track” offspring topping their production sales. His dam is one of our top performing “P606” daughters from the Gerber “80E” cow family. Don’t overlook this opportunity to add performance and maternal power to your next calf crop.

The daughters of MR Hereford are making excellent cows and have established a 101.9 ratio for their performance. “8D” is a member of the “Nicky” cow family that originatd in the CMR herd in Mississippi. “8D” is typical of the females we’ve had from this cow family. They all are stylish, well balanced, deep bodied, and their udder quality and milk production are second to none. This is the first female we’ve offered for sale from this cow family and we would expect “8D” to carry-on this family tradition. In addition “8D” has the style and balance to provide a junior member with a lot of fun this summer.

6108 is a unique combination of pedigree, performance & style. His Sire giving him a shot of the prolific “Two Timing” cow & out of a daughter of the legendary “Poetic Justice” cow. Light on birth, heavy on weaning with a more than acceptable EPD profile adding to his value as a top shelf herd bull prospect. Since weaning- he has been managed with longevity in mind. No steer stuffer or hot corn. Developed on a haylage, corn sileage TMR with long term well being of his feet and joints in mind. From a structure standpoint, 6108 possesses design traits desirable for his future as your herd bull. He is wide pinned, with a long, level hip, good footed, rugged yet smooth jointed, his shoulder lays in flat, & he has plenty of extension from there forward. Without a doubt, This bull can move a program forward & leave you with a set of good solid profitable cows. EPDs: BW 3.6 WW 46 YW 80 M 23 MG 46 Fat -0.027 REA +0.49 Marb +0.06

This daughter of the proven sire Wyarno has more rib than most pregnant cows in the typical cow herd. She is huge boned with a nice hoof shape, designed for production with the added volume and pin width, sound structured and great performance built in. Being our first time to the expo, we wanted to bring our very best. THAT WE DID! Though he may REMITALL OLYMPIAN -GRANDSIRE OF still be young, 23D is quite possibly the best calf to hit the ground at Clear Fork Farms and will be well worth a long look on sale day. Many good cattlemen walked through the pasture this fall and Diesel was the one that caught every one of their eyes. Diesel is long, powerful and yet still clean fronted and stylish. Not to mention his star pedigree and ease of calving, being out of our special herd sire 79Z. Diesel’s dam has brought herself to the top of the herd in just two calves; we even used his full brother last year. Don’t miss out on this very special individual. Another calf from 79Z, a special individual with a star studded pedigree that we believe we were only able to obtain due to the dispersal of Star Lake and one who has helped to transform our GO 3196 ADVANCE S109-GRANDSIRE OF LOTS 44 & 45 herd with this heifer being a prime example of that. 11D is a big bodied, long sided, sound structured female that has the extra look to make a good show heifer prospect. But maybe even more importantly we pride ourselves on raising functional cattle that will breed, feed and lay down and calve problem free. We believe this heifer will do just that, as has her dam every time before her. Another animal we are proud to offer. Glenview Farms has graciously donated the following embryos and semen to the Ohio Buckeye Junior Hereford Association.

All of the dams are the kind you can build a herd around. Oshie and Longdrive will give you cutting edge genetics from the showring. The rest of the sires are all extremely well documented proven maternal sires. Massey would be happy to discuss any of the matings should you have any questions.

Red Hills Tricia is a donor we shared with our friends at DeanaJak Farms in PA. She was a cornerstone female in their program. The Oshie sire was the Grand Champion at the 2016 PA Farm Show for DeanaJak. Longdrive was a many time champion for Lowdermans, as well as being a maternal brother to LCC Back N Time. Progress P20 with well over 1,300 calves recorded remains a breed leader for calving ease, udder quality and marbling. Take your pick and build your herd!
