A proven mating that adds a lot of potential as a high end breeding piece. Blacktop Vicky - a 2 time Reserve National Champion and the dam of many Champions- including the Hereford JR National- has proven her prolific power yet again in this super May prospect. Valor was the Calf Champion at Denver and Ft Worth when he was wearing a show halter. Combining those 2 powerhouse Herefords together has created a female that is somewhat unusual in her build. Study the length and trimness of her neck, the extreme pin width , the bone shape and the belly shape of this female. Those appear to be characteristics that aren’t often put together. This female has absolutely done a complete turnaround since coming off a marginal, recip. She will be competitive in the May division and should become a cow that will be a bankable difference maker. Hold the phone, hold the elevator, hold on to something cause this one is big time good. Those of you who know Kelly and I will agree that we will tell you how we see it.. I went to the KY Harvest Sale the night before to look at the cattle. I called Kelly and said I found one! Then, I went back the next day and bought her. Talked to the Bar H folks after the sale and they are good people that obviously raise good cattle. This heifer was split off in the ring, hauled to our place in KY, taken to our place in OH the next day and weighed an actual 560. A four month old baby, out of a first calf heifer- trucked from PA, to KY to OH. Now look at her genetic profile- those numbers don’t lie on this one. Study her pedigree with breed greats. Now look at the individual. Incredible bone, hip and dimension, she is rugged built but still elegant. Sound like a pouncing kitten. We believe this female will be highly impactful- grab a bidder number and roll on.. Sells open. OCV

Short and sweet and full of meat!! This guy has a lot of good things in a compact package. His sire is a Copeland bull that we bought because of his low birthweight. He would be perfect on heifers or that cow that you need to moderate frame. 1947’s dam is probably our best cow, and she produces a good one every year. Lots of good here that would work for anyone.

“Are you looking for a bred female?” Then Tailor Made is your ticket….she is bred to sexed heifer semen on Pyramid 3027 Domino 1109 and will be calving at 24 months of age and hopefully before the Expo. Tailor is level topped, big square hipped, elegant fronted and she possesses a lot of style and balance. She’ll be in your herd for years thanks to her sound structure and ease of movement. 1109 is a trait leader in CE and BW, along with nine other EPD traits. We are very excited about this mating! A true mama cow in the making. AI’d 6/5/2020 to 1109 sexed heifer semen .

Rosetta has had “the look” since she was born. Her elegance demands attention! This July heifer is awesome with her femininity, smooth shoulder, squareness, depth of flank, true spring of rib, correctness, and ease of movement. TH 122 711 Victor 719T daughters are known in the Hereford world for making great mama cows. Any junior looking for a heifer to show this summer needs to be sure to check her out. Her sweet temperament will make her a great addition to anyone’s herd and showstring.

VOLUME, GROWTH, and PERFORMANCE describe this polled March female. Snow Flake 002 is sired by the popular TH Frontier 174E bull that was bred and raised by TOPP Herefords. Snow Flake 002 is out of a first calf heifer – BCC Snow Angel 863F ET that we purchased from Baumgarten Cattle Company of North Dakota. Snow Flake 002 is a moderate designed female loaded with substance; capacity; and muscling, yet in a very neat and attractive package. You really have to appreciate her on the move as she is as sound as a cat. “COW POWER” is the term I use to analyze Snow Flake…..her grand dam is the famous BCC Miss Maybarry 064X cow that is backed by great maternal power. An added sale feature is her disposition….making her ideal for a young showman. Be sure to look for SNOW FLAKE in the stalls at the Expo. (Calfhood Vaccinated)
