BEST Banquet Highlights 2015-2016 Friend of the BEST Program Bill Tom
A family man and Ohio State Buckeyes fan, Bill is a champion for the BEST program. He has helped at numerous check-ins and provided input to better the program. Bill is also the Beef Department Director at the Ohio State Fair. Thank you for your years of dedicated service to Ohio’s livestock youth and to the BEST program!
Community Service BEST Participants raised over $19,000 for Make-A-Wish® during the 2015-2016 season. Abigail Thornton, Fairfield County, was the top fundraiser and was awarded with a $500 shopping spree with Weaver Leather Livestock. Megan Becker, Washington County, was also a top fundraiser and was awarded with a $500 shopping spree.
Pop tabs were collected throughout the BEST season to donate to the Ronald McDonald House Charity. Haley Frazier, Jackson County, collected the most pop tabs this season and received a $500 shopping spree for show supplies with Weaver Leather Livestock.
