Noticing Our Guardian Angel with S. Patty Campbell, OSF (Spiritual Director) Sunday, February 5, 10:45-noon - $ freewill donation

There are many ways to seek God’s help. During this coffee talk, we will search out the presence of angels in our midst. Angels are not only messengers of God but they are also conscious shakers, road runners, and many other presences to us. It is for us to become aware.

Awakening our Spirit

Did you know? The Sisters’ chapel was built in 1890 with beautifully soaring ceilings, pillars, and inspiring stained glass artwork. Masses are celebrated at 11am on weekdays and 9:30am on Sundays. You are welcome to join us in prayer anytime! Convent tours are also available by appointment. Call us!

“Being in the presence of such holy women made me so happy!” “I loved how welcomed we were at church!”

Wise Men & Women Following a Star: Epiphany 1851

Epiphany tells the story of three wise men from the East who followed a star to find the newborn king of their hopes and dreams. For Sisters of St. Francis, Epiphany is celebrated again in a similar story - that of Mother Theresa Hackelmeier’s arrival in Oldenburg on January 6, 1851 in fulfillment of her hopes and dreams and those of Fr. Francis Rudolph, pastor of Oldenburg. Come hear their miraculous stories and be inspired by these wise and courageous individuals whose hopes, dreams, and faithful journeys founded the Sisters of St. Francis, Oldenburg.

Resurrection Mysteries: New Prayers for the Rosary with S. Sharonlu Sheridan, OSF (Educator) Sunday, March 11, 10:45-noon - $ freewill donation

The Resurrection of Jesus is sometimes lost from sight during days of bereavement. We think even less often of the people who were raised from the dead during Jesus’ earthly sojourn. During this session, we will look at other resurrections and see how they can help us understand the passage of our loved ones to the Heavenly Kingdom. These resurrections will be presented as an alternative to other mysteries of the Rosary.
