Fan-favorite crime drama Grantchester is set to return on July 9th for an eighth season on OETA.

This season of Grantchester takes its beloved characters on a journey of joy, despair, and exciting suspense. Will, once the happiest he's really ever been, faces a devastating accident initiating his spiral into despair and challenging newfound doubt in his faith in a compassionate God. Meanwhile, Geordie finds contentment in his relationship with Cathy, but work-related announcements threaten their happiness

With the support of Mrs C, Leonard, Jack, and Daniel, Will and Geordie navigate unfamiliar emotional waters, all while murder lurks nearby

This season of Grantchester explores a wide range of themes, from Speedway to spies, shedding light on the lives of invisible women and the challenges Leonard faces with his new vocation, potentially pitting him against the law.

Faith, forgiveness, and redemption are put to the test, pushing Will and Geordie to their limits.
