Texturing Units Temco® FTS61 Friction texturing single unit series FTS61 The FTS unit series FTS61 are belt driven friction texturing units for high yarn speeds. The integrated bearings, which are mounted on a compact base plate, ensure exact axial and vertical distances of the friction discs and, therefore, provide high yarn uniformity and low vibration. The friction discs are attached to the bearing shaft via a slide fit and are secured with a spring cap that has a defined pressure force. This construction, together with the open design of the units, enables a rapid disc change. The cover of the toothed belts prevents contamination and ensures a long beltlife. Yarn threading is through a mobile threading device and as a result the units are particularly user- and maintenance friendly. Another significant advantage is the high visibility of the yarn path within the unit. The units can be used for new equipment, as well as for upgrading all established high-efficiency texturing machines. For upgrading Barmag texturing machines, the FTS61 unit can be fitted onto the existing and original Barmag bracket by means of an adapter plate. The geometry and the whorl of the FTS61 unit are design in such a way that no further changes to the machine and drive are necessary.

Texturing Unit FTS61 Yarn tension measuring: The units can also be equipped with yarn tension sensors resp. the units can be converted at any time by means of simple exchange of the covering.

Brackets: - For mounting in different machine types Oerlikon Heberlein Temco offers the corresponding bracket types. - Particularly for mouting in Barmag machines FK6-the original Barmag bracket can be converted easily. Worn out original Barmag brackets can be replaced by new Temco brackets.
