We will never again in a lifetime see a repeating date on any calendar such as 12/12/12. It was the last to be seen and we, as you know, are living through history, a once in a lifetime date. On 12/12/1/2, the best of the best in the entertainment industry came together for the “Sandy Relief to Benefit The Robin Hood Relief Fund” presented by Chase Bank. I was the invited guest of HBO’s Soprano’s star, Kathrine Narducci, to attend the 12/12/12 Concert in Madison Square Garden. It was an amazing experience and the energy was brilliant. Everyone giving of themselves without asking for anything in return and working the phones to help others was a sign people do care. In the room, you could feel the love and support each had for the cause: James Gandolfini, Stevie Van Zandt, Steve Schirripa, Aida Turturro, Joe Pantoliano, Robert Iler, Tony Danza, Whoopi Goldberg, Adam Sandler, Bruce Springsteen, Gina Gershon, Anne Hathaway, Billy Crystal, Mick Jagger, Paul McCartney and Kanye West, just to name a few. As Kathrine introduced me to everyone, I was able to chat with a few people here and there that were in the group, and a few I met in passing, it was a kind smile and a hello. I was blessed to have met some of the legends in the entertainment industry, a WOW moment, and yes, even I was blown away. On the website of The Robin Hood Relief Fund, it read the following: “Robin Hood has launched a large-scale relief effort to aid our neighbors in the tri-state area whose lives have been shattered by Hurricane Sandy. Within hours of the storm, Robin Hood-funded non-profits were providing blankets, hot food, heaters,
generators and more to residents in Red Hook, Coney Island, the Rockaways and all across the region. Now, one month out from the storm, thanks to our supporters, Robin Hood has been able to provide over $8 million in grants to more than 90 different groups. “Thanks to the generosity of concert organizers, sponsors, and Robin Hood’s board of directors, every single penny from ticket purchases and donations will go to the best community organizations serving the victims of Hurricane Sandy through the Robin Hood Relief Fund.” For more info: www.121212concert. org It was time for the annual Odyssey Holiday Party held at Bamboo 52. It was fun, festive and oh so Gay, if I may say so myself. As everyone moved about the room, my ears were blessed to hear the voice of Ari Gold belting out a tune for the holidays. He, along with Spicky Hilton and a few others, served up some holiday spirit. I chatted and had a toast with Michael Musto of The Village Voice right before I cracked open the party. After I and Eddy Barrena, Jeff Eason, Dalton Franklin and Deejay Rob killed it with some delicious Sushi, Cocktails and Sapporo Beer, it was a yummy night, not to mention the array of hot men that filled the room. Ok, I will give you the name of one of the many Hotties in the room: Mr. Matinee himself, Jake Resnicow, and don’t think I wasn’t looking around the room for Patrick Crough...oy vey, what can I say! Seen out: Anka, JJ Mack, Andrew Werner, Michael Formika Jones, Bradford Noble, Louie G, Jose Flores, Sabrina Bacote, Nathan Kelly, Phillip White, Anu Singh, Nick Feliciano, Jeremy Taylor, Show, John Chandler, Malik Williams, Joey Israel, Philip Hratko, Hariqbal Basi, and Mark Cordoba... always a pleasure. As most gays would say “we’re off to the theatre”, and that’s just what Eddy Barrena and I did. We headed on over to the Wild Project at 195 E. 3rd St. to see “The Mad World of Miss Hathaway 8”: “I’ll Be Horny for Xmas!” Can I tell you, if you need a pick me up and you want to laugh your socks off... (Ok balls off), Angela Di Carlo is the person to be following. She’s not only the writer of the show, she stars in it along with Mike Albo, Adam Dugas, David Ilku, William Jay Kahn, Heather Litteer, Jill Pangallo, Casey Spooner, Kyle Supley, Gia Mele, Ede Thurrell, and musical accompaniment by Kyle (Special K) Forester! The show is an episodic series based on the TV show, Mad Men, and this time around, it was about the annual holiday party at the “Spencer, Colfax, Raper & Shenanigan’s” advertising agency circa 1966. Ms. Di Carlo shows how life was in the office world in the 1960’s - smoking, drinking, and lots of sex. She even wrote in a Christmas Queen Contest. It was hilarious. As Di Carlo would say, “It’s a new holiday tradition NOT for the whole family!” It was Sunday and the weather was crappy, and well, most people would have stayed home, but not this gay. I was off to the new Sunday night party called Heathers. The party was hosted at No.8... 357 West 16th St., and you know me, it was time to see what was going on and who was doing it. So, Jeff Eason, Eddy Barrena and I popped in for a few, and in doing so, we ran into DJ Vito

Fun and Ronnie Brown who were also out and about checking it out. I was taken aback when I walked into the room. It was jumping and filled with stylish Gays and those who love us. It was hot, and it had something for everyone like a bag of mixed nuts, and a good time was had by all. The party was produced by F Idea-Boxx and hosted by Dahlia Moreno, Melissa Burns, Cheyne Hauk, Jason Preston, Es Stargardt. The door was held down by the lady of the ropes, Roze Black and door Diva, Connie Girl, along with music by DJ’s Honey DiJon and Nicola Zanatta. To all that didn’t make it, the night was great and this is one party you definitely don’t want to miss. I’ll be going back for a few more rounds of Heathers. Here’s a Heather Movie Quote by Veronica Sawyer: “If you were happy every day of your life, you wouldn’t be a human being, you’d be a game show host.” Have you been asking yourself, “Where can I get a hot sexy gift for that special someone in my life?” Well, I say, go to Rufskin - they’ll fit all your needs. You know, they say, “Hot and Sexy sells”, and they’re right. Rufskin owner, John Thompson, knows what the Gay Public wants and needs and he is serving it up at the Rufskin shop, Chelsea. John, Thank You. I love the product. Rufskin hosted its holiday party and invited a group of us to come and enjoy a cocktail or two and share the joy of the season, and that’s just what I did. The gathering was pleasant and the room was filled with wonderful people and great conversation. The team that mans the shop are GM Paul Abrantes, AM Dalton Franklin and PR Marcy Depina. They worked the room making sure everyone had a great time, and we sure did. How could we not? We were surrounded by hot men and hot undies…tis the season….. fa la-la-la-la-lala-la OY! For the Holiday party, Rufskin brought in DJ Tival who filled the space with his hot beats and sexy clothing of model bartenders, Mark Mackillop and Kyle Szpyrka dressed in Rufskin product looking like two taste treats behind the bar as they banged out some hot Cock-Tails. Seen out: Jared Mathias Riccardi, Jeff Eason, Harol Baez, Eddy Barrena and Santiago Felipe rufskin.com Things to check out: • Michael Musto in My Chiffon Is Wet • December 20th at Eastern Bloc at 10pm • Ari Gold’s New Single, “Play My F**kn Record” available on iTunes. Congratulations on the Visionary Award from LARA. Good Luck on your New Year’s Eve gig at ProBar in Atlantic City • Mike Ruiz, Happy Birthday, and Congratulations on the phone app Pretty Masculine • Happy Birthday, Sahara Davenport. You Are Truly Missed. God Bless You OXOX. December 1 - World AIDS Day. A day of remembrance, and a day for remembering the battle is not over. I was very touched to be honored by the Our Youth Annual “AIDS is a Drag, Wrap it Up” organization in New Jersey. Shequida was also being honored so we shared a ride out there. Other than her trying to get some kai-kai action in the back seat, we had a great time catching up. Shequida and I have been friends for almost 20 years and I always have a blast with her. Robert Anthony runs this important organization which raises funds for education and scholarships; and he works tirelessly all year. He is my hero! Many Jersey queens performed including this whore I love, Alexis Milan. LOL - just kidding, I don’t love her. NO - seriously, I love that bitch. And many new queens also turned it out onstage. The event was a dry party in a church so Shequida and I were both white knuckling it. The next night, I went to see “Broadway Bitch Bingo” hosted by the hilarious YouTube star, Randy Rainbow. I fucking live for his videos, and he’s just as funny live! He sings, has videos, trivia, stories, a sexy half-dressed assistant and, of course, BINGO. Even the opening video is over-the-top hilarious. Randy is grabbing balls every Sunday night at Therapy at 8pm. Industry has been turning it out with guests at my weekly Wed show, “The Sherry Vine Show”. Martha Wash, Crystal Waters, Xelle, and this past week, JbDubs. if you haven’t seen his GORGEOUS video, “I Hate My Job”, watch it RIGHT NOW! The first time I saw the video, I fell in love with him. It’s sexy, funny, and has fierce dancing - everything. He performed, “I Hate My Job”, and premiered his new video, “Pantywaister”, with his two GoGo dolls, Milk and Julie. Since JbDubs is a dancer in ABT, they all turned out to support him. So many sexy dancers and ballerinas! And they all stayed for
Therapy Xmas Drag Extravaganza Photo by WilsonModels some poop parodies. It was one of the best shows I’ve had at Industry yet! Thanks, gang! Just got home from MC’ing “Menorah Horah”, the annual holiday burlesque extravaganza at The Highline produced by Thirsty Girl Productions (Jen Gapay), and starring The Schlep Sisters! Oy vey! It was so fun. You know I love my drag shows, but this was a whole other world with just as much glitter, glam and wigs! The performers included; Darlinda Just Darlinda, Minnie Tonka, The Evil Hate Monkey, Little Brooklyn, The Maine Attraction, Maddy Mann and Lexi Miller. They were all completely different and completely wonderful. I co-hosted the evening with Bastard Keith who was hilarious. I felt like I was on a crazy roller coaster trying to keep up with him - lol! I love being around sexy hetero (?) guys in heels. Prrrrrrrrr!! Please visit my YouTube page, “MissSherryVine”, and check out our two newest videos by Francis Legge. A parody of Xtina’s “Your Body” (called “Your Mommie”, all about Adult Babies) also starring David Serrano. And “Scream & Shout” (“Squeeze & Fart”, yes, another poop parody!) Isaac Davidson of WigBar did a great job on all the hair, especially Britney. And Matthew Doers did the recording for both tracks. Hope u like them and please subscribe!!! I’m off to Germany for four shows, so I’ll have some good stories next column! MEOW! The Sherry Vine Show every Wed at Industry at Midnight!!! by mrs. hello
Okay, hello. Good news, for most of you, anyway. On December 21, 2012, the World is not going to come to an end. This Wednesday just past, we had an unusual numerical phenomenon, that of 12/12/12. They say these things do not happen very often, and I say, thank goodness for that! Back to the End of the World…NOT! Many have preferred to think of it as the escalation of Incremental Transformation which is not an ending. Oh my stars. This year we saw the occurrence of a very Powerful Grand Mutable Cross which aligns many of the planets, but results in an environment of instability which clears out the excess, the clutter, and the blockage that could otherwise prevent us from seeing and/or understanding what really does matter. You have, more than likely, hit someone with an argumentstopping dose of the truth which, depending on the nature of the situation, launched a reconciliation, or at the very least, defused the entire episode. This is good. However, we are not always big fans of our reality despite the ratings of those wacky Housewives. The brave New World that each of us faces from time to time must be underscored with confidence and purpose as the foundation, and affirmation and acceptance as its extension above ground. Read your horoscope. Kiss someone. Let your Love Light shine. After all, you’re all stars. Aries Mar 21–Apr 19: You have managed to, well, manage, and quite well at that. Your multi-tasking has become second nature, and the plates have remained in the air for a good while. You are meant for such, just keep a good eye on things, and they will stay that way. Let go of your hold, and you might find you are back at square one. You do not want that. Self-promotion is in order. Bob Mackie/Graham Kerr Taurus Apr 20–May 21: Environmental Impact report… starring YOU! You are greatly influenced by whom and what is around you, so now is the time to include only the most important and meaningful people and things. Build a little shrine, as it were, to yourself. This energy is going to be needed to assist you to the next level you attain, but some others are thinking they can just come along for the ride. They can’t. Halston/Robert PattiNson Gemini May 22–Jun 21: You have displayed greater strength and endurance over the last year, and pretty much did it all yourself, and for odysseymagazine.net • December 19, 2012–JAnuary 1, 2013
If you desire the advantage of knowing how and when to make the best moves you can in your life, Mrs. Hello would love to assist you with personalized Astrological guidance. yourself. This is healthy. However, this month shows relations, family, and the like somewhat coming out of the woodwork to enlist your assistance. They are asking for a lot of your time, so prepare to be conflicted for sure. Recall who was around when you needed them, and who wasn’t. Anderson Cooper/Zachary Quinto Cancer Jun 22–Jul 22: It seems as if you may be finding out the difference between an “All you CAN eat” buffet, and a satisfying dinner out. The doer in you will take on another task, then another, then another, but just because you are getting them done right now, doesn’t mean that they won’t do you in, sometime down the road. Your lesson of the moment is: practice saying “NO”. Lindsay Lohan/Merv Griffin Leo July 23–Aug 23: Looking more and more like the person you and everybody else wanted you to be, you have had some thoughts brewing in terms of a new venture, or project. You should now feel good about putting these notions out on the table. Chances are the time is just about right to do so. Here’s a twist for you, Oh Great Thinker, spontaneity is a new key to discovery. Think about that. Michael Kors/Stephan Dorff Virgo Aug 24–Sep 22: The third week of the month will be quite revealing, as something comes to light, when someone lays the truth out for you. Until then, you might wish to consider sweeping up the many bits and pieces of your personal quests, or what is left of them, and readjust the way you become “devoted” to these ideas you have put in your head. Sylvester/Tyler Perry Libra Sep 23–Oct 23: Busy, busy, busy the whole day through, but is this time-filling “active” lifestyle just a clever way to postpone doing a little work on the source of your power, namely you? If you ran a “De-Frag” program on your life, then used all the new room left over to not “do” but rather to “be”, you might re-discover your path now that it is cleared of all the obstructions formerly in your way. Meditation equals Gain, for you now. Marc Jacobs/Mario Lopez
Scorpio Oct 24–Nov 22: “It’s a piece of cake!” Did you ever find yourself saying that? Chances are you have, and it is because for you, it just is. You have a great month with which to “wow” everyone with your skills, but one cautionary word -- now that your work and personal life are both afloat, focus becomes the key more than ever. Lose that and your shine will dull. Focus. Michael Yo/Sean Combs Sagittarius Nov 23–Dec 21: Steady now, the time for showing off and underscoring what is already a given, is not now. The month will consist of your challenge to remain like Switzerland, neutral. This will keep the temptation to become too strong of the head at bay. This will be vital, as all at once, you have your hands very, very full. John Galliano/Calvin Klein Capricorn Dec 22–Jan 20: Should-a, would-a, could-a…uh, uh… don’t even try it. Some things just have to be, you will have to allow the time it takes to come to your own terms in dealing with them. There is no need, however, to punish yourself with mental torture games. Just park those issues and be the gift to the World that the real you can be. You will always be highly thought of, so believe it. Andrew Christian/Ryan Seacrest Aquarius Jan 21–Feb 18: Round and round and round you go; where you stop, nobody knows. Well, here’s a hint -- stop spinning now. Waiting for this and that in order to do this or that is a silly little girl’s game played by people who don’t know what they want, much less how to get it. This is not you, but in order to get it, a new attitude of pro-activity must be adopted. Greg Louganis/John Travolta Pisces Feb 19–Mar 20: A seemingly hopeless situation emerges as a catalyst for personal growth, but in order to take full advantage of it, you must be willing to let go of your defenses and excuses. The problem with looking at a problem is this - it tends to stay a problem or grows another. No matter. Try looking at it like a puzzle. Now, get busy and work on solving that.
