Underground Aquarium Academic Project Second Year
Proposal of an Underground Aquarium in Guadalajara´s downtown. The main challenge for this project was to settle the difference in depths of the different pools making them accesible for both the visitors and the Aquarium´s curators. This issue was solved by presenting all of the pool surfaces at the same level, disregarding the deepness. The rest of the building was project meeting the standars of the Association of Zoos & Aquariums.
Panamerican Tram Station Academic Project Third Year
As the Panamerican Village for Guadalajara 2011 was proposed, the need of a core building for the complex was spotted. This building is conceived as a solution for three main aspects: to hold a Tram Station, to link Parque Morelos and Plaza TapatĂa (saving a 5 meters drop between them) and to create an axiom for the Panamerican Village. The station includes several bridges connecting the different levels, an auditorium, cinema theaters and many multi-purpose rooms.

The proposal for a Conference Room Attachment in an Office Building in Av. AmĂŠricas, in Guadalajara. Since the beginning, the Room was understood as an attachment to the original building. A parasite, if you would. It was decided that the Conference Room should look as what a parasite looks for a High Class Office worker. The materials where chosen to provide a fully functional and confortable space and adjusting to the context with a radical contrast .

A New Library for Prague Academic Project Fifth Year
The Czech National Library serves as a public space where people from different ages and social positions can go and use it not only to research books but also to obtain knowledge/ culture by other ways, such as exhibitions, media center, computer labs and by other, more informal mode. Moreover, the building itself may represent to the citizens an important place to translate its culture and tradition.The library should be considered to be an icon to the city and to hold all necessary knowledge which the country keeps and preserves. Also, such icon needs to have a vital connection with the users and place in its urban context as an integrated element respecting the surrounding landscape, buildings around it and, mainly, a good relationship with the city scale.

CRITERIA: IN THE CITY CENTER FRINGE the optimal location for the national library was based on local and global criteria main roads tram lines cycling ways train rails metro station 300m metro surrounding ACCESSIBILITY The building must be close to public transportation such as trams, metro and bus stations. Walk- ing distance from metro should not be longer than 300m and from tram must be 100 m the most. Easy connection to airport, higways and train station HIGH FLOW DENSITY OF PEOPLE should be taken in consideration: _the new business development areas such as Pankrac, Smichov, Karlin and Holesovice _nearby the Universities (Dejvickรก) _the flow of people that come from the center AN OPEN FREE SPACE, SQUARE AND/OR GREEN AREA IN PROXIMITY WITH THE LIBRARY This public space should be a representation of the social life of the Library PUBLIC AND COMMERCIAL FACILITIES OR THE POTENCIAL TO HAVE THEM REVITALIZATION OF UNDERVALUED AREA IMPACTS _physical: respect to the architectural history of the city; revitalization of an undervalued area _social and cultural: quality of life for the area and city residents by new facilities attracted and pleasant and enjoyable continuous public space

SELECTED SITE FOR THE LIBRARY
Built Project -Zamora, MĂŠxico
Built and used as a Warehouse for almost three decades, La Bodega (as known by its owners) had been caught in a highly populated area. The initial proposal included 5 one-room apartments, but due to a restringed budget, the project evolved into a 3 units building. As the project was ignited and being already in construction, some economic issues affected the owners, having to work on an even tighter budget. The total transformation cost, from the 28 year old warehouse to the ready to rent apartments, was near $1,500,000 MXP (around $130,000 USD). All 3 apartments are occupied.
The North Faรงade was designed in order to avoid the graffiti painters in the area. Upon site observation, it was concluded that only that faรงade was exposed to them, since a Federal High School is located upstreet.The faรงade includes a green wall (recently planted in the picture) and seethrough garage doors. Until now, the design has been completely sucessful in this subject.
