RETHINK THE TYPING INTERFACE BETWEEN HUMAN AND MACHINE. The continued size-shrinkage of mobile computing devices has forced people to consider new data-entry alternatives. Twitch’s 10 key system makes typing natural, by placing the keys directly underneath the user’s fingertips as they naturally hold their device, without obscuring the screen. Twitch’s pending patents further cover keyless data-entry methods, where the movement of the user’s fingers are remotely detected by any of a variety of external sensors.
RETHINK THE TYPING INTERFACE BETWEEN HUMAN AND MACHINE. Twitch has been appointed as a developer for several exciting new technologies including Thalmic Lab’s remarkable MYO armbands, that detect individual finger movements via electrical impulses given off inside the forearms. This data is then wirelessly transmitted to Bluetooth enabled, mobile computing devices where it is interpreted and converted to the appropriate characters and commands. It is believed MYO will make possible “Air Twitching ”, so that users can “type” simply by moving their appropriate fingers in the air (or even in their pockets) without the use of hardware keys
