Solidarity Freedom Walk London, ON – December 8, 2011 – Occupy London supporter Jake (Michael) Kondrashov, will be arriving in London on Saturday, December 10, 2011 as he passes through the city as part of his Solidarity Freedom Walk from Windsor to Ottawa. Jake began his march from the Ambassador Bridge in Windsor on Saturday, December 3, “I, Jake, will embark on a battle against the elements, a test of ones will, and WALK over Turtle Island. I am relighting the extinguished flame of the Occupy encampments.” On Saturday, a group of Occupy London supporters will meet Jake at North London Plaza on the corner of Fanshawe Park Road North and Hyde Park Road, where they will walk together to the Occupy London General Assembly taking place at Tolpuddle Housing Co-op, 380 Adelaide Street North at 1pm. At 5pm Jake, along with other London Occupiers, will walk approximately nine hours to Woodstock, where Jake will continue on to Brantford. All are welcome to join us as we welcome Jake, and to attend our GA at 2pm and our public discussion at 4pm.
