A 42-year-old woman was killed last month in Pompano Beach when she stepped off a median on South Federal Highway and into the path of a car. A 49-year-old man met the same fate on Jan. 24 when he tried to cross east Commercial Boulevard in Oakland Park. Former Deerfield Beach Chief passes away William J. Neal, 84, of Palm City, FL, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 21 at the Martin Hospital South, Stuart, FL. Born in Cleveland, OH, he had been a resident of Palm City for 22 years coming from Deerfield Beach, FL. During the Korean War, he served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He also served in the Coast Guard Auxiliary. Before retiring, he was
