Summer Splash Summer vacations are on and children are eagerly waiting to join their respective summer camps. Summer camps have become a way of engaging little children into learning some productive skills, while their parents are busy with their working schedules and have nowhere else to leave their child, nor take them for a vacation. Almost every school or summer camp kids club makes it a point to come up with new activities every year to grab the attention of maximum kids to be enrolled in the summer camp. The activities that are usually offered in each of these summer camps includes, yoga, singing, dancing, art and craft work along with these regular activities camp organizers these days include other fun activities such as clay modelling, balloon sculpting, theatre art, soft skills development, personality development, and communication skills. Single children of working parents are the ones who get bored during the entire summer holidays; because their only medium of preoccupation, i.e. the school is closed for a long period and they do not have friends to play with and have fun. Fun definitely is the agenda of the organizers but they ensure that each and every child who attends this camp takes back some sort of knowledge with him, when he goes home to display before his or her parents what have they learnt for the entire month. Parents feel very happy and proud to see the progress of their kids, especially when the very child they once taught how to walk, teaches them different yoga asana’s to reduce their stress. Children at a tender age are able to learn and adapt to different skills, the more you teach them the more they will acquire. It is considered to be the most crucial and best learning days of their life, as small children can be moulded into different shapes and sizes, they have no inhibitions, no pre formed notions about things, they are simply ready to learn anything and everything that comes their way and have fun with whatever they are taught. Summer camps are essential to boost up the morale for little children as they are already bored with their mundane school going, home-work doing routine. This comes as a splash of cool water in this hot sultry summer and gives them an opportunity to become creative in different ways and explore the world of theatre, dance, art, and other activities within their school premises.
