• Prints: A range of six an-quality prints are being developed fot the Stamp Points programme. These prints feature a graphic or illustration taken from a specific past stamp issue. The relevant stamp issue will be mounted on the print and date stamped with the first day of issue. The print is unframed.

• Stamp Art Calendar: A calendar fearuring artwork from New Zealand Post stamp issues has been developed and is available for distribution to customers attaining the appropriate level of points.

REWARD SELECTION PERIOD • The reward selection period expires on 28 February 1997. Reward selection forms received by the Philatelic Bureau prior to close of business (5.00pm) on this date will be actioned. Reward selection forms received after close of business on this date will not be actioned. • Rewards will be despatched to customers by the end of March 1997. Customers will not be charged postage costs for delivery of rewards.

OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS • Overseas collectors making purchases (at full price) from the Philarelic Bureau will be able to participate in Sramp Poinrs on the same basis as New Zealand based collectors who purchase philatelic products (ar full price) from the Philatelic Bureau.

• The table below outlines the levels of points required to obtain rewards, and the options fot rewards available through the Stamp Points programme.

• Over 300 points: Customets obtaining more than 300 points are eligible for a range of prize combinations. for example: - 350 points:

or two miniature sheet sets & Stamp Art calendar (150 + 250 points). - 450 points:

REWARD SELECTION • Bureau customers will be notified of the total Stamp Points earned in the first stamp issue mailing of 1997. A Stamp Points reward selection form will be included with this mailing, to enable customers to select the reward/s they wish

LAST CHANCE TO ORDER NATIVE BIRD DEFINITIVES With the release of the Scenic New Zealand low value definitive stamps on 27 March 1996. the popular native bird low value definitives are due to be withdrawn from sale. These stamps will be available from the Philatelic Bureau until 31 May

1996. These popular stamps, which feature native New Zealand birds. can be ordered on the back issues order form enclosed with this issue of Focus. Don't miss out on these great New Zealand stamps be in quick!

The Philatelic Bureau has again been recognised as a market leader! During February 1996, the Bureau was advised by the New Zealand Trade Development Board of our achievement of a Tradenz Export Commendation. The Export Commendations are awarded to acknowledge the contributions to New Zealand's foteign exchange earnings through initiative, effort and enterprise. The New Zealand Trade Development Board highlighted New Zealand Post's innovative approach to stamp design. and targeting of the South East Asian market. particularly through stamp exhibitions, as facrors which have resulted in a dramaric increase in sales since 1992. Naturally New Zealand Post is very proud of this achievement and appreciates the ongoing contribution made by the team in Wanganui to help earn such an honour.
