Some general remarks about period 12 When preparing the period 12 chapter, during which Carpatho Ukraine was part of the Ukrainian Socialist Soviet Republic a great number of subjects arose which have never been explored in the western world. Possibly also because the postal history of this period was never popular with philatelists and the existing sources are hardly admissible due to language problems. It was only possible to explore this period with the help of many friends, but the chapter is far from complete and needs additions and possible corrections.
