Trampled Trail By Nygoma Hybama
The trampled trail our heroes made Is covered now beneath the earth Deep within the woods only the brave will dare travail Only the brave will dare travail.
Camouflage in leaves and shrubs Our heroes made these trails Stalk by dogs and deadly thugs Their memories never fades
Giant tree became their shield Bitter herbs their food One protecting a spirit grief The other a hunger sooth.
And when the stalking ceases to be And our heroes too agree The blood soak land We build from scratch And became a people free.
Traveling the dusty trail meeting and confronting the obstacles unheard of and unfamiliar. A poem of travail. Nygoma in style.
