Polish presidency of the Council of the European Union 01. 07.- 31. 12.2011 Dynamism, positive energy and solidarity are values symbolized by the logo. It presents Poland as a modern country, young in its spirit, initiating positive changes in Europe. Jerzy Janiszewski is the author of the logo, the same person who designed the famous logo of "Solidarity", which became a historic symbol of the Polish path to freedom and democratic changes in this part of the world.
