Counselor recommendation is required. Impact classes are targeted for students planning to enter college. The IMPACT program (IMPROVING ADULT COLLEGE TRANSITION) prepares students to enter college academically prepared in English language arts and math. Recruitment for fall 2011 begins in summer. AIRCRAFT MECHANIC/GENERAL SUBJECTS 

The Aircraft Mechanics Program is approved and certificated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) under Federal Aviation Regulation Part 147. Certificate Number CZ9T078R. The program consists of 45 subject areas presented in three separate classes; the course work consists of both technical classroom training and “hands-on” shop experience. Courses are designed to prepare students for the F.A.A. licensing examination in General Airframe and Powerplant Mechanics. Technical material and tools are provided for the student. The enrollment policy of the Division of Adult and Career Education provides open enrollment for prospective students. You can enroll in the program any time during the semester.
