Nevada FFA Foundation Annual State FFA Convention The Nevada State FFA Convention has been a highlight for Nevada FFA members since its beginning in 1929. At the convention, students are recognized for their achievements. They also learn valuable skills from the speakers and the many workshops. The convention provides an exciting avenue for students to learn about the issues facing agriculture and career opportunities. It also provides an outlet for students to meet life-long friends and contacts. The event occurs concurrently with the state competitive Career and Leadership Development Events in March at the University of Nevada, Reno. Through donations, Nevada FFA Foundation supports this event as well as Agricultural Education and FFA’s vision of developing leaders, building communities and strengthening agriculture.

The mission of the Nevada FFA Foundation is to promote agriculture education and Career and Technical Education in Nevada and to provide strategic financial resources for agriculture education that benefits students and help them develop their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success.
