How to make money with your blog Many people who start in this world end up throwing in the towel, because they do not have a strategy in place, it is not constant, or they do not have visitors ... so they end up getting discouraged and end up returning to their routine, leaving their dreams behind. But today I want to share with you 7 ways to earn money with your blog , so that you can be inspired and go all out with your professional blog.



Selling a physical product If you have an online store where you sell a product (whatever the product is) you have to create a blog. A blog helps create traffic to your store automatically, and is a way to connect more with your audience, providing extra content about fashion, beauty, travel or whatever is related to the product you sell. If you look at the big brands, they all have a Blog section on their website.


Creating a Membership Site on your blog What is a Membership Site? You offer exclusive content on a monthly basis to your community in exchange for a fixed price each month. They can be classes recorded in video format, they can be guides to learn how to do X. But you have to offer quality and exclusive content that your audience wants to pay for every month. How much does it usually cost? Membership normally costs between € 25 and € 50, depending on the content, and is paid monthly.

Creating a Workshop The workshops are becoming very popular in the blogger world because it allows you to earn money by giving a class on the subject you master. Workshops are classes that are held live and your audience pays X money to see that “private” class. It is done live so that your audience can ask you questions live at the end of your class. You can sell the Workshops for $30, $50, $100 for each attendee who signs up! The operation of the Workshop is as follows: You offer them a live class, solving a problem that your audience has. For instance; If your blog is about travel, and your audience wants to know how to find cheap flights, you can do a Workshop explaining how you find cheap flights. You choose a day and time to do the class, and you share it with your audience. You can also make a questionnaire to see what is the best time and day for them. You send them an email, or share the page where they have to subscribe to access your class. Prepare a fantastic class for your audience to learn, solve a problem they have and leave happy. So surely when you return to offer another class ... will pay again for sure!


Creating an online course Imagine that your audience goes to your blog because they want to learn to cook, or to dress better, or they want to learn to make green smoothies, or they want to learn to create a handmade bag etc. etc. You can create a step-by-step course teaching your audience to do what you know how to do and they are dying to learn! One way to know what your audience wants to learn from you is simply by asking about social media!

Consulting Consultants make a lot of money offering solutions to specific problems that companies have. For example, if a company wants to gain thousands of visits per month on its website, and you know how to do it, you can offer yourself as a consultant to that company and solve the problem.



Offering a service for individuals For instance; Imagine that you have a fashion and style blog, and you are passionate about finding the right style for each person. A person comes to your blog, they love your articles about fashion, they are passionate about your style, and they see that you offer a styling service. They can contact you to make them a stylist for a day, and guide that person to dress better, or to find their own style, and they would pay the cost of the service to others. Tip: You can create packs, for example a session that costs 250 euros, and two sessions 400 €. Wouldn't that be great? Whatever the theme of your blog, I am sure you can offer a personalized service to your audience.

Collaborating with brands Brands can pay a large amount of money for you to write them an article, sharing their product with your audience, or paying for an ad on your blog for a month for an amount of money. Sometimes brands come to you directly or you can be the one to contact them and propose a collaboration. If you are interested in contacting brands and offering your blog as a platform to advertise, you can read a post I made exclusively for this.


Remedies for dark circles Dark circles arise for many reasons. They can happen due to a hereditary factor. According to the doctors of the Baviera Clinic (Madrid) dark circles are usually caused by a prolonged lack of sleep over time and exacerbated by physical and mental fatigue. These situations cause the blood vessels in this area to dilate, showing a darker color from the rest of the skin. Stress and anxiety do not help in preventing this from happening, but there are even more factors that trigger them.


Lack of iron or anemia is one of them, also, an unbalanced diet, circulation problems, fluid retention (this also leads to bags), hormonal problems and genetic factors.



Homemade tips to prevent dark circles Milk The lactic acid in milk acts as a natural bleach for the skin, which is why it is a common remedy for dark circles. It also has proteins, amino acids, and antioxidants that help repair damaged skin. So if you want to nourish and clarify that area, soak two cottons in cold milk and place them under your eyes for 15 minutes.

Potato Another vegetable that you probably already have in your kitchen and that will help you reduce pigmentation under the eyes, is the potato. Cut thin slices and apply to eyes for 10-20 minutes. Repeat this process twice a week for best results. A different option to take advantage of its properties is to grate the potato and extract its juice, dip cotton wool in it and apply it on the desired area.

Cucumber One of the most common and used remedies to calm dark circles is to place slices of fresh cucumber over the eyes. This food is rich in vitamin E, which helps to lighten the skin, refresh it and moisturize it. To make it work better, we recommend that the cucumber is very cold and that you let it rest on your eyes for 10 minutes.

Tea bags Chamomile tea is one of the most popular to combat puffiness and dark circles. This is because chamomile has anti-inflammatory properties that relieve eye strain, which is why it is even recommended to relieve irritation and eye infections. When dark circles are the problem, then you can brew two chamomile tea bags and let them steep until cool. Once cool, place them over your closed eyes and massage the area.

Aloe vera This plant is known for its infinite healing properties. Among its many benefits, is deep moisturizing, which is why it is a common component in different beauty creams. In addition, it has an anti-inflammatory effect that will help reduce bags. Therefore, we recommend you open the plant and remove a little of the pulp that it has inside, apply it directly on the area you want, let it rest for 10 minutes and then rinse with warm water.

Getting deep and uninterrupted 7 to 9 hours of sleep every night is key for ideal weight, balanced energy, good mood, and strong immunity. High-quality sleep reduces stress, prevents ailments, increases productivity, and helps to overcome depression. I have to highlight that it also reduces errors, accidents, and injuries. So if you're clumsy like me, this insight will be very relevant to you! Now that you're aware of some of the many benefits of sleep, here are some tips to help you get optimal rest and recovery every night.

Aim for consistency: You've probably heard this before, and that's because it really works! Going to sleep and waking up at the same time regulates your melatonin levels (the hormone needed for good sleep) and trains your body to be prepared for bedtime when you need it to be — instead of waiting hours to fall asleep. Adding an alarm on your phone (to go to sleep 8 hours before you need to wake up) can help you stay regular with your bedtime.

Stop liquids and food: I recommend having your last sip and bite 3 hours before sleep. This habit will not only help prevent insomnia and improve the quality of your sleep, but it'll also support optimal digestion. Added bonus, you won't have to wake up over and over to go to the bathroom. Getting those solid, uninterrupted hours will boost your energy, support hormonal balance, and proper recovery.

Daily Meditation: Adding meditation to your bedtime routine can make a big difference in your sleep. Don't worry; this isn't going to add another time-consuming chore to your busy day. Even a 5-minute meditation can do the trick. You're better off being able to do it consistently every night for those 5 minutes than struggling to find 30 minutes to fit it into your schedule and not doing it frequently. Meditating will help you shut off the endless chatter in your mind and enable you to push away the thoughts that aren't relevant to sleep time. Allowing your mind to prepare for quiet, rest, and a good night of sleep.

TRENDS FOR WINTER Brown and earth colors are emerging as the main protagonists of the coming season. Beige, camel and toffee to dark browns will be part of a chromatic scale that will invade garments that will be a trend this fall / winter. We will see sporty chic outfits, a T-shirt with shoulder pads, joggings and jumpsuits that will invade the streets in brown, to total looks that will range from suits, midi dresses and leather items (shirts, pants and tops) where this color will say present. Another hit of this season in the coming months are the puffer jackets, which we will see until we drop. And let's not forget the boho style, which remains current and is characterized by exploring earth tones. There's no other way to put it: tailoring is coming in with force. The designers have not found a middle ground and have rescued the silhouettes and elements of suits, vests and coats. In addition, these pieces are now combined with loafers and children style shoes, not with heels or sneakers. Tory Burch, The Row, Prada, and Peter Do lead the charge for women who like to dress in loose-fitting tailored layers.

Without a doubt, the leopard print is one of the most deeply-rooted trends of recent times. A print that brings out the most feminine and wild side of women. Forget about wearing it in small doses, and wear it in outerwear, as Etro or Dior have done, or in pants and let it stand out in your look.

Another option for this winter 2022 are cozy and warm garments to face the coldest days of winter. Cover yourself with woollen garments. Once again the point is going strong, we will not only wear sweaters of this fabric, now we will dress from head to toe. This is how high firms such as Fendi or Blumarine have made us see it, where they have opted for total looks made up of sweaters and skirts or shorts.

You and your mother Madchen Amick are working very hard to raise awareness about mental health. At NFF we think it's amazing. I would love to give our readers more information on don't MIND me and the amazing work.

Can you talk about 'don’t MiND me' for those who don't know much about it? Of course! 'don't MiND me' is a mental health foundation and movement started by my family and I. My mom Mädchen, my brother Sly, and my dad David were brought into the mental health world about ten years ago when one of our family members was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. From there, we were motivated to try and bridge the gaps we were coming across in the mental healthcare system, and pay it forward to the next family who would have to navigate these waters like we did. ‘don’t MiND me’ was born out of our determination to end the stigma and discrimination surrounding mental illness, unite all existing and future efforts, in order to implement direct impact in the lives of those most urgently in need of care.

Our main goals for the foundation and movement fall into three main categories: replace stigma with actionable recovery, provide funding in order to fill the gaps, and design an accessible future for mental health care. Through our social media outlets and our podcast, we are openly talking about our journey as a family and how that's led us to actually start analyzing our own individual mental health in the process. By talking openly and honestly with ourselves and our wonderful guests, we break down that stigma surrounding being transparent about your brain health! It's so important and so easy to do and hopefully makes it a little bit less scary for others to talk about what they've been through too. But besides our mission to end mental health stigma, we want to take it a step further and create real, direct change. Things like scaling up interventions, funding more specialists in the field, supporting services to integrate into our existing general healthcare system, and providing equitable and evidence-based mental healthcare and its coinciding appropriate treatment. We have a lot planned for the future and are so proud and thankful of our team and partners who are helping us along the road.



The 'don't MiND me' podcast is great! How do you choose the guests? How often can we listen to the episodes and how can people subscribe and listen to them? Thank you! Recording the 'don't MiND me' podcast was such an amazing, raw, and therapeutic process. As you'll hear in the episodes, we start with the tough process of what a family goes through when a loved one is recovering from a manic episode. By complete coincidence, we were dealing with this mental health crisis right when the podcast began filming - and though it was a very difficult time for all of us (and even more so for the person going through the manic episode), it was really meaningful to be able to react to that period of time as it was happening, minute by minute and hour by hour. There were a lot of tears and emotions as we processed what a mental health crisis is really like. The frustrations of when the health care system fails you... A huge shoutout to our producers at Aurra Studios for helping us tell that journey as we went through it. Choosing our guests so far has been a very natural thing. The people we've had on so far are friends and family that are wonderful advocates and allies that each have a unique perspective on mental health and well being, and we have an unbelievable lineup of new guests for the next installments that we can't wait to share. What's * one * podcast interview question you really love to ask? Why? Usually towards the end of the episode we like to check in with where we're at now. What are we doing at the moment to maintain our well being. I love that because we spend a lot of time learning about people's background and journey, and to follow up with a current check in feels like a great way to observe how far we've come through everything we've been through! Take my family for example - ten years ago, we didn't know much at all about mental health, bipolar, or anything of that nature. Fast forward to today, we've learned meditation, we're constantly educating ourselves about mental illness and diagnosis, we check in with each other constantly, we take mental health breaks, and some of us religiously take medication. A lot of our guests have other amazing ways they practice self care - Mariel Hemingway is a huge advocate for holistic self care, treating the body and mind. Tiera Skovbye is diligent about therapy. Everyone's answer is a testament to how far they've come in their journey and shows that no matter how challenging or low we've gotten in our lives, we humans are so freaking resilient.

Two types of cinnamon : Cassia and Ceylon - Improve digestive disorders such as gas and to treat diarrhea, due to its antibacterial, antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory effect.

Cinnamon is an aromatic seasoning that comes from the bark of the cinnamon tree. This spice is used in the form of powder or stick to prepare various culinary dishes because it gives a sweet touch to meals. It can also be prepared in the form of a tea or used as a tincture. Regular consumption adds to a healthy and balanced diet and could provide various health benefits such as:

- Lower blood pressure, due to its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that help relax blood vessels. Side effects: the use of cinnamon in small amounts is considered safe. The side effects of cinnamon have been reported when the Cinnamomum cassia species is ingested in large quantities, because it contains coumarins, which can cause allergies and skin irritation, hypoglycaemia and liver damage in people with serious liver diseases.

- Reduce fatigue and improve mood by increasing resistance to stress. - Help fight cholesterol and triglycerides due to the presence of antioxidants. - Helps in digestion, especially when mixed with honey because honey has enzymes that facilitate digestion and cinnamon has an antibacterial, antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory effect. - Decrease the appetite as it is rich in fibers that increase the feeling of satiety. - Reduce the accumulation of fat because it improves the sensitivity of the tissues to the action of insulin.
