Job title: Monitoring and Evaluation Fellow
Overview: Nuru International is accepting applications for a Monitoring and Evaluation Fellow to support field staff working in Agriculture, Education, Health, Community Economic Development, and Leadership.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Recruit, manage and coach Ethiopian M&E staff Manage conduct of baseline Multi-Dimensional Poverty Assessment Tool (MPAT) test of appropriate significant sample of community in Ethiopia Train Ethiopian staff on Needs Assessment strategy and process Facilitate Needs Assessment for community where Nuru will be working Manage data collection and metrics o Provide technical assistance on proper data collection and assist with data collection o Oversee local Nuru census data collection, if necessary Act as M&E representative to Nuru field staff o Provide field perspective on M&E strategy and plans o Conduct special projects and general administrative duties as assigned
Required Skills and Attributes: Graduate degree (either MA or MBA) or undergrad within 2-3 years of work/ volunteer experience Preferably having taken course work in Monitoring and Evaluation Ability to do crisis management and rapid, innovative problem solving in uncertain environments Prior experience living and/or working in a developing country; experience in working with the poor Strong work ethic Strong quantitative and project management skills Strong commitment to organization’s mission, vision and theory of change
