Tourism work on renovation plans
NUKU’ALOFA (Tonga Holiday): The Ministry of Tourism and the Tonga Tourism Authority is continuing with programs to help develop tourism sites around the Kingdom. With more and more tourists now visiting our shores, Deputy Director for Tourism Sione Moala Finau Mafi said the Ministry and the TTA are working with communities on the construction of facilities and renovation needed. Tenders have been advertised for the renovation of toilet facilities at the Houma Blow Holes and the Ha’amonga on Tongatapu. Works on the new viewing deck at the Blow Holes in Houma have been completed now, with tourists and members of the public now guaranteed safe viewing from the deck. Work is also planned for both the Vava’u and Ha’apai tourism offices. “These works are being planned in line with the
