raternities and sororities are comprised of men and women dedicated to a lifetime bond of brotherhood and sisterhood. Fraternity and sorority life at Northeastern University provides a unique and diverse opportunity. The Northeastern fraternal community is vibrant and consistently prioritizes leadership, scholarship, service, and brotherhood/sisterhood in all that they do. Our organizations create a community where men and women can grow as individuals, while experiencing safe and healthy social, philanthropic and academic endeavors. Individual chapters seek to provide their members opportunities to serve the community, enhance leadership skills and strive for high academic standards. LEAD 360

L

EAD 360 is a component of Northeastern’s experiential learning model which uniquely prepares students to lead in a complex global society. Through dynamic programming, Northeastern prepares students to recognize leadership as a collection of diverse experiences and a process of lifelong learning.

The programs offered through LEAD 360 give students the opportunity to discover leadership through multiple perspectives and meet new people who do not live in their residence halls or are not in their academic classes and yet share the common interest of leadership. This enables them to lead in their classes, co-curricular activities, co-ops, and ultimately their careers. BLUEPRINT: FIRST-YEAR LEADERSHIP PROGRAM

BLUEPRINT assists first-year students in developing a framework for their leadership paths. In BLUEPRINT, sessions are facilitated by one upperclass student and a faculty member or administrator. Participants attend 8 weekly sessions, lasting 75 minutes each and take part in a team building retreat. This program is great for students who want a springboard for their involvement at the university. WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP

Women’s Leadership is a dynamic program for women in their second year or above. Women’s Leadership provides participants the opportunity to further their leadership skills, discuss women’s issues in the United States and around the globe, and examine characteristics of women in leadership. Women’s Leadership meets eight times over the course of the semester and sessions are facilitated by upperclassmen students. Sessions are 90 minutes each and include activities as well as in depth discussions. There is no cost for undergraduate students to participate in any of the LEAD 360 programs. To learn more about programs offered in LEAD 360 and the Fraternity/Sorority Life & Student Leadership office, please go to northeastern.edu/lead360.

LEADERSHIP RETREATS Retreats are a fantastic way for students to meet new people and experience more. Retreats take place on or off campus and last a few hours or an entire weekend. Some of our past retreats have included: College of Science EMPOWER Fraternity/Sorority Life Pan-Asian American Council School of Pharmacy UNPLUGGED: Spirituality
