Your NSPCC scrapbook

Together we’ve been there for so many children who needed us.

I know how much you care about the safety of children and young people. So, I want you to know what an enormous difference you’ve made to their lives with your support.

Did you know that on average, two children contact Childline every minute? Children feeling alone, or scared, desperate for someone to talk to. And through your support, we’ve been there to make sure their calls are answered. On average, we delivered 17,000 vital counselling sessions a month – that simply wouldn’t have happened without you.

Because of you, the NSPCC has been able to protect children, prevent abuse, and keep up the fight for every childhood. Your kindness has made sure more children and young people know that someone is on their side, even when it feels like there’s no hope.

So please, do keep hold of this. This is your own personal scrapbook, to look back on and remember the positive influence you’ve had on children’s lives. I hope you’ll be able to support us once again in the future, but in the meantime, thank you so much for everything.

Shaun Friel Director of Childline, NSPCC

Always there to answer calls

You’ve helped us pick up the phone thousands of times to protect children who need us. Whether they’re calls from children themselves in their most desperate moments, or from adults phoning our Helpline because they’re concerned about a child’s welfare.

Always there to listen

Because of you, on average we delivered 17,000 Childline counselling sessions a month last year. And we responded to over 67,000 contacts to the NSPCC Helpline. Over a third of these resulted in a referral to social services. Your support really has kept children safe.
