DATE Homecoming

(Parent & Family Weekend)

GIVING OPPORTUNITIES It has been a great year for Pacific. Our first Homecoming in more than 18 years was a resounding success! It was wonderful to welcome the entire Pacific Family to campus. Earlier this semester, we announced a major milestone in the history of University of the Pacific. We are celebrating this transformative estate gift of $125 million from the late Robert and Jeannette Powell. We are excited for what this gift means for the future of the University.

We are thrilled to have parents as part of our community and share with you all the success of the University of the Pacific. We hope you can join many other Parents, Alumni, and Friends by making a year-end gift to help continue our great success. Please visit here to make a year-end gift. Thank you for all you do!

Mynor D. Aragon Named Director of Parent Giving We would like to introduce Mynor Aragon as the Director of Parent Giving. He has been charged with a new role for Pacific to create opportunities for parents to be involved with the university philanthropically. Mynor will be working with all aspects of parent engagement throughout the university, including integrating parents with the alumni community, enhancing Homecoming weekend and creating a Parent Leadership Council. He comes to Pacific after serving as Associate Director of Development for the USF School of Law where, for the past 5 years, he managed a major gift portfolio, reconstituted a reunion program, and led the majority of alumni relations activities for the law school. Mynor has been an active member of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education that supports staff who seek to share fundraising best practices. Mynor has a BA in Politics from the University of San Francisco and earned a Master’s in Nonprofit Administration in 2009 and a Master’s of Business Administration May 2013 from the University of San Francisco.
