The NRTA is proud to bring the Dimestore Fisherman to the lakes of the County of Newell. Jim Hoey will be producing a feature episode here in the County and will be on sight for the Elks Fishing Derby June 16th, 2012 at the Rolling Hills Reservoir, and for the Brooks Medieval Faire August 11 & 12. Located 48 km northeast of Brooks (only 10 km from Patricia) along the Red Deer River. Campground, day use picnic area and five self-guided hiking trails open year round. The Duke of Sutherland Water Park is FREE for all users and has a brand new design and all new equipment. There are new spray heads, new obstacles, a water gun section, a slide, and other fun sprayers for children of all ages. The park is open from May to September depending on the weather and the hours are from 9am to 9pm, every day.
