Spotlight Working at Heights Schools must ensure that employees are appropriately trained to carry out

their work safely. This also includes ensuring that other staff are supervised by somebody competent to work at heights. This includes an understanding of how to undertake a working at height risk assessment, how to use and access the appropriate equipment safely and how to ensure that employees can reduce their risk of falls from height. This new NPW Working at Height training course will assist you in complying with the Work at Height Regulations 2005 by providing the necessary information needed to be able to successfully deal with working at height risks and control measures. First Aid Training Emergency First Aid at Work QA Level 3 (RQF) This vital, 1 day course, is for those working in schools and is appropriate for all staff, in particular those who may need to deputise in the absence of the school main first aider to administer emergency first aid. The Legionella bacteria is a perennial problem that is spread through contaminated water systems; it is a school duty to control outbreaks of Legionnaires.
