Featured Agent Q: How did you find Palm Beach and make it your home? A: I’m a local, born and raised in Palm Beach. The daughter of a farmer, my family made Palm Beach their home by starting a sugar business in Belle Glade after being forced to leave Cuba in 1958. Q: When did you begin to sell real estate? A: I graduated from the University of Miami with a major in marine affairs and photography. My real estate career took off in 1986 after I realized I could be more successful selling and leasing commercial and residential properties than trying to be “Jacqueline Cousteau”. Q: You’ve sold homes to lots of locals. How do you meet the out-of-town buyers and what do you say to encourage people to buy in Palm Beach? A: I work with many international clients, brokers and affiliates that refer buyers. I don’t really have to sell Palm Beach because it is so unique. We have some of the best boating, fishing, diving, and snorkeling in the world. Q: Why is selling homes so gratifying? A: Real estate can be the most important and largest investment my clients make in their lifetime.
