Run Norwich Sponsorship & branding opportunities

The organisations behind Run Norwich Run Norwich is organised by the Community Sports Foundation (CSF), the official charity partner of Norwich City Football Club. The charity is supported by the Race Operations Board, whose invaluable support makes the race a reality. The race board contains representatives from key organisations including: The Forum Norwich City Community Sports Foundation Norwich City Football Club Norwich City Council Norwich Business Improvement District

Race charities 2017 One of our key aims is to support local causes and, in addition to CSF, we encourage runners to fundraise for our chosen partner charities. In 2015 and 2016, over £150,000 was raised for Age UK Norwich, Nelson’s Journey, CSF & Norfolk Accident Rescue Service (NARs). The chosen charities this year are SERV Norfolk, Norwich & Central Norfolk MIND, Big C and CSF.

Event branding opportunities Race day brings with it the unlimited opportunity to promote your brand to not only the runners, but the tens of thousands of supporters who flock to the heart of the city for the event.

1,700 race barriers line the route

Barrier branding

Branded KM markers

Promote your company in some of the most prominent and popular locations along the route. There are over 1,700 barriers lining the route, and we’ve chosen a number of key sites where companies can promote their brand. These include: Gentleman’s Walk, Red Lion Street, Rampant Horse Street, Theatre Street and Castle Meadow.

All runners want to know how far they have run, so our nine kilometre-marker flags are the ideal place to advertise your brand.

We have three different branding options that you can use on the race route:

The marker is a tall feather flag, and the locations of the flags are displayed on the race map.

• • •

Whether you want a particular kilometre marker – or want the lot – this is the perfect chance to get all 6,000 pairs of eyes on your company.

Water station sponsor Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! This is an unlimited opening to gain great brand exposure to all the runners, by sponsoring a water station along the race route.

Race Expo stand Held inside The Forum, The Expo is a two-day pre-race event that over 70% of our runners attend to collect their race-packs and enjoy the atmosphere of excitement and anticipation, as part of the race day weekend buildup. This is a perfect opportunity for brands to utilise the floor space to engage with the runners and the public footfall, in the heart of Norwich city centre.

By sponsoring the water station, you get full control over the branding and the atmosphere of the area. The options are endless, but could include the following: branded t-shirts for volunteers, branded gazebo, cheer station, music and spectator giveaways. Sund Sund

AFTER A DIFFICULT 18-MONTHS IN MY LIFE, I WAS PERSUADED TO SIGN UP FOR RUN NORWICH BY A FRIEND… I FELT SO DAMN GOOD AFTER DOING IT. I NOW WANT TO IMPROVE FOR NEXT YEAR. IT’S GOT ME OUT RUNNING 2/3 TIMES A WEEK AND I REALLY ENJOY IT.

Wendy Moss, #976

I’VE LOST EIGHT STONE IN THE PAST YEAR. RUN NORWICH IS THE LATEST STEP ON MY ADVENTURE TO LIVING A LONG, HAPPY,

ACTIVE LIFE.

EVERYONE IS FANTASTIC AT THESE EVENTS, THE CHEERS FROM THE CROWDS AND THE GUY DOING THE ANNOUNCEMENTS MADE ME FEEL SO AMAZING. CROSSING THAT FINISH LINE, LAST, AND KNOWING I’D RAN IT ALL WAS SO

OVERWHELMING I WANTED TO CRY. Sarah Tranquillo, #5727

I WAS 49 YEARS OLD, 16 1/2 STONE WITH A 40” WAIST WHEN I DECIDED TO SORT MYSELF OUT. I STARTED WATCHING WHAT I ATE AND DOING FAST WALKING TWICE A WEEK. THE WALKING SOON TURNED INTO RUNNING. I AM NOW 51, 11 1/2 STONE WITH A 30” WAIST, RUNNING FOUR TIMES A WEEK AND AM THE FITTEST I’VE EVER BEEN.
