A voluntary sector inclusion project born in 1998 Helping young people take ownership of their lives Improving self esteem and confidence Working throughout Northumberland Have our own residential activity accommodation 18 members of staff team Providing support 52 weeks of the year Range of after school and holiday activities A part time provider working with young people between 1 and 3 days per week

Extensive support Show alternatives to the lifestyle they lead Raise self esteem Build up trust in others Teach how respect of others leads to respect for themselves Instil a sense of pride in what they do by real projects and results that others can see Gain real awards and recognition for efforts

Community Projects a vital part of programme Reward and recognise every achievement Gain maximum publicity to help raise profile Gives young people the opportunity to experiment and test themselves in a safe environment.

Offer the full range of Asdan Awards and short courses including COPE and PSD and Wider Key Skills At Level 2 brings 46 points back to the school Approved under section 96 and 97 lists now on QCF Mentioned as good practice in Back on Track Approved by QCF 1-3 day courses available for young people New curriculum being developed to ensure we comply with the recommendations in the Wolf Report All qualifications are externally verified Challenging activities including residential activities included

Is not an easy option Behaviour Challenged Rules and routines adhered to Parents and schools kept involved daily Aware of sanctions.This brings a responsibility for and awareness of how their actions impact on their life Shows that future decisions are not made for them it is down to their choice and actions
