Announcements ____________________________________________________________ The offering of the day is for World Budget. This month in particular the Seventh Day Adventist church is supporting the work of Voice of Prophecy. From a single program aired once a week it has grown into the Discover Bible School offering free bible lessons by mail or online with more than 120 affiliate schools and materials in over 80 languages. ____________________________________________________________ Church Work Day! Join us in cleaning up the Lord’s house bright and early on November 4, 2012. We will be meeting at 8am sharp. There is a baby shower in the afternoon so we want the work to be completely finished up by noon. Come out and give a bit of your time and energy to the Lord. ____________________________________________________________ The Thanksgiving Basket Fundraiser was a great success! Thank you to all the volunteers, donors, and those who came out to support us. We had a wonderful time playing games brought to us by the Social Committee and eating a delicious meal made by various volunteers. Thank you to all. ____________________________________________________________ Sabbath morning prayer group meets at 9am in the front of the sanctuary. Please join us as we place our petitions and praises before the Lord. ____________________________________________________________ The personal ministries team goes to Friendship Manor the first Sabbath of each month after fellowship dinner. Anyone that wants to come is invited. Plan to leave the church about 1:15. There will be songs, scripture, poems and prayer. ____________________________________________________________ The Pate’s small group is spending their meeting times this month at Franklin Health and Rehab is Rocky Mount. If anyone would like to join in this ministry of love to community, please contact James Pate or Deborah Dovidio. We are meeting at the facility on Friday evenings at 7pm. ____________________________________________________________ Want to see more information in the announcement section?
