There's more, much more, to Christmas Than candlelight and cheer; It's the spirit of sweet friendship That brightens all year. It's thoughtfulness and kindness, It's hope reborn again, For peace, for understanding, And for goodwill to men!”

The offering today for the Worship Hour is for the Church Budget. These funds are for operating expenses, programs, and for the mortgage. December is known as square up month. We have so many blessings for which to be thankful in 2009. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Remember the Hope for Humanity offering. This is the old Ingathering offering. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Sabbath Vespers will be at 6:00 this evening. Please join us as we close this Sabbath. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Join us for prayer meeting on Wednesday at 7:00 pm. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Continue to remember Hollins Manor. They are in desperate need of body wash, deodorant (men’s and women’s), and shampoo. Please pray about how you should help this ministry. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Prayer is the only way we have to connect with God. He is waiting on us to ask… Use the prayer list in your daily time of prayer. If you would like to add a prayer or praise see Christina Ford or Melissa Elkins. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------January 10th following the morning service learn more about the purpose of the web ministry team and what is to be expected. In this meeting you will learn the descriptions of each position on the web ministry team and how the team will work together to make a great web site. If interested at the end of the meeting, you can then decide which position you would like to be by filling out a sign-up sheet. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Join us for fellowship dinner after the service next week, and bring a friend! Help is once again needed in the Food Pantry. It is getting very low, and we need everyone’s help in getting it filled back up again. Please bring your donations to the church and let’s get it back in shape! Thanks-Judy Marshall
