Announcements North Valley's Community Outreach Team We will meet on the 2nd Sabbath of every month for 30 minutes. I encourage everyone to come and get involved in reaching our community. If you have any ideas of reaching the community, please write them down and give them to Melissa Elkins. Our second community outreach is in the planning stages and will be announced soon. May we all be a blessing to Jesus whom gave His all for us.

OCTOBER 5, from 3pm: Fall Fun Fest! We will have fun and games for all ages. We are also going to have a spaghetti dinner fund-raiser AND CAKE SALE! This will be to support our annual Thanksgiving food box drive. ----------------------------------------------------------------------

There will be a bridal shower for Ron and Annabelle Pack at 7:00 pm on October 2 here at North Valley.

Announcements Cont’d The North Valley Church will be a host site for MIQ (Most Important Questions) October 8-16, 2010. Beginning October 8th at 7:00 p.m., Pastor Doug Batchelor and Amazing Facts will present a 10 part live satellite evangelistic series called Most Important Questions designed specifically to reach teens (age 1318) . Young adults will also find it helpful. The series will cover topics such as dating, peer pressure, alchohol, drugs, the relevance of the Bible and church in our culture, etc. Invite teenagers and young adults to attend, share with your friends!

-----------------------------------------------------------------The offering for the Worship Hour service is Potomac Partners. This is a Potomac Conference offering. It funds Church Buildings, Christian Education, Evangelism, and Youth and Camp Blue Ridge. North Valley has received about $48,000.00 for our building. Remember this offering today.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------Continue to remember Hollins Manor. They are in desperate need of body wash, deodorant (men’s and women’s), and shampoo. Join us on September 25th at 6:00 pm for our Advent Youth Program. We will be showing a 2008 production of the Pilgrim's Progress: Journey to Heaven movie. This modern adaptation is a film you won’t want to miss! Invite teens and young adults to see this live action movie and follow Christian in his allegorical journey from the City of Destruction to the gates of heaven. Be encouraged in your walk with the King of kings! (Due to the very vivid dramatizations of the battle between good and evil forces this movie is not recommended for very young children) ---------------------------------------------------------------------Come out for cleanup day Sunday, October 17 at 8:00 am.
