Up Coming Events North Lakes Community Survey

April 2nd and April 16th. We will be walking through the neighborhood asking questions on how we can serve them. We will have a survey card to fill out for each home. I would also like to give out apples and oranges with a handout on the benefits of fruit. So you may ask how you can help. It is simple, come and go with us and bring your nd children. You can purchase bags of fruit and bring them to the church on April 2 . We will have a training class on March 26th directly after the worship hour. I am in the process of make name tags for each person that will be going with us, so I will need to know who will be attending. I am asking for 12 adults to participate in this event.

Ronald McDonald House Dinner On April 17th we have volunteered to participate in making dinner for the residents. Just in case you did not know this is a safe haven for parents and children. They are able to live there while the child is having medical procedures done. The families are very grateful for all the help they get. So mark your calendars and be a part of this wonderful community service. If you would like to know more information on this program see Christina Ford, her and Renee stayed at the Ronald McDonald house when Renee was receiving medical attention at Duke University. Nikki has a menu set up for the event, so get with her and let her know you are interested in helping out. We need at least 6 adults to help with this event. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Be sure to join us in the fellowship hall immediately following the worship service for potluck dinner. The food and fellowship are always great! Visitors are especially welcome!

Announcements The offering for Worship Hour today is for the Church Budget. These funds are used for operating expenses and programs of the Church. This has been a slow winter for Church Budget income. There is good news. On February 26 and March 5 there was a total of $3000.00 given for Church Budget. Praise the Lord! Thank you for your faithfulness.

----------------------------------------------------------------------Remember Hollins Manor. They are always in desperate need of body wash, deodorant (men's and women's), and shampoo. Please pray about how you could help this ministry.

The next World Explorers will be March 26th. There will be a meeting the 4th Sabbath of every month.

When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.” And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. --Luke 5:4-6
