OUR H E R I TA G E SINCE 1949 Northrop & Johnson is the quintessential full-service yacht brokerage. Since 1949, we have offered discerning clientele an innovative, sophisticated approach to all aspects of the yachting lifestyle. Northrop & Johnson’s reputation of success is built on decades of commitment to clients and commerce within the industry. From yacht sales and purchase to charter, management and marketing of the world’s most exclusive luxury vessels, Northrop & Johnson offers a total-service approach. Our impressive record of yacht sales, growing charter fleet and global expansion are a testament to the honesty, integrity and steadfast promise to deliver the best to our clientele. Shortly after World War II, Jim Northrop and George Johnson formed a partnership to provide a quality yacht brokerage service to their close circle of yachting companions on Long Island Sound. The first Northrop & Johnson office opened in 1949 at 366 Madison Avenue in lower Manhattan and served as the foundation for the fledgling brokerage house. Here began Northrop & Johnson’s true-blue “Yankee” heritage, which is reflected in the company’s reputation for honesty, integrity and fair play. The word about the “Gentlemen Brokers” of Northrop & Johnson spread throughout the tight-knit yachting community of New York and created the platform on which the company’s sterling reputation was built. By the early 1960s, Northrop & Johnson had expanded with branch offices in Stamford, Connecticut; Miami, Florida; and Marblehead, Massachusetts. In 1971, Kees Van Vliet opened the first U.S.-affiliated yacht brokerage office in Europe; the office was based in Cannes, France. By the late 1970s, additional offices were added in Newport, Rhode Island; Puerto Buenos, Spain; and St. Petersburg, Florida. During the 1970s and 1980s, Northrop & Johnson became the premier large yacht brokerage in the United States. Many of the industry’s most influential names began their careers with Northrop & Johnson. Today, Northrop & Johnson is recognized at every major yachting venue throughout the world. Our strategic alliances and extensive network provide abundant support and representation for the vessels in our fleet in every major yachting center. All Northrop & Johnson brokers have access to market intelligence and a vast database to deliver the most valuable support. Today, with more than six decades of longevity and 18 offices worldwide, including seven offices in Asia (the largest presence of any yacht brokerage), Northrop & Johnson continues to provide customized services that exceed each client’s needs. Northrop & Johnson has become an industry icon and we are proud to continue this heritage as the world’s foremost authority on the sale, purchase, charter, management and new construction of luxury superyachts.

DREAM SETTING Charter a luxury superyacht in a land where lemon trees stand perched on mountainside terraces and Moorish architecture dates back centuries. The pure magic of the Amalfi Coast beckons as iridescent seas lie under towering crags — much of the coastline is rocky and rigid — creating the dream-like setting that inspired famed authors such as John Steinbeck and William James. As you sail along the Amalfi coastline, you’ll be greeted with continuously breathtaking views. Follow in the footsteps of actors, writers and lyricists as you roam the streets lined with local artisan’s shops. Amalfi, the town for which the coastline was named, sits at the bottom of a ravine, flanked by bluffs, and beckons with its dramatic imagery. In the early 1900s, this city was a popular aristocratic destination and has since maintained this status. Fine dining can befound at the Grand Hotel Convento di Amalfi. The peaceful town of Ravello is renowned for its gardens, historical villas and its cathedral. The public gardens of Villa Cimbrone are available to visit from 9 a.m. to sunset daily. This stunning villa on a cliff was built in the 11th century and served first as a family home and later became a monastery. After renovations in the early 1900s by a British baron, the villa was restored to its former glory and has welcomed guests such as Winston Churchill and Greta Garbo. Marvel over the Arabic-inspired cathedral, Piazza Duomo, which was founded in 1086. Just off the Amalfi coast lies the incandescent Isle of Capri, home to the famous Blue Grotto, which is so named for the shimmering cobalt color that is created as the sun shines into the cavern. Take a tender ride to the grotto for an afternoon of snorkeling and swimming during your Amalfi Coast yacht charter.

Amalfi

Depart early for Amalfi, one of Italy’s most romantic villages. Take a taxi to the town of Ravello with its spectacular views of the coast and magnificent villas. After, cruise to Positano, which is built around a small curving bay on a steep hill overlooking the island of the Sirens. In the evening, depart for Salerno. 5

EIGHT-DAY ITINERARY 1

Monaco

Enjoy the breathtaking views as you make your way from the Nice international airport to the incredible principality of Monaco to begin your luxury yacht charter. A late afternoon apéritif on board is a must before heading off to explore the city. Have dinner at a Michelin-star restaurant; later roll the dice at the famous Monte Carlo Casino or revel in the night at one of Monaco’s uber-fabulous clubs. 2

Internationally renowned as the French Riviera, the Côte d’Azur is one of the world’s most iconic stretches of coastline. Conjuring romantic images of Elizabeth Taylor frolicking on the beaches of Nice and prominent socialites rolling the dice in Monaco, the Cote d’Azur remains the playground for the rich and famous. From the days of Hollywood’s silver-screen sirens, the glamour of the French Riviera grows ever stronger. Poised between beautiful rolling seaside hills are antique towns merely minutes from the hottest nightspots; Michelin-star restaurants and hidden local gastronomic gems abound. The juxtaposition of old and new, chic and quaint adds to the charm as you cruise from Monaco to Saint-JeanCap-Ferrat to Saint-Tropez and beyond; there are few better ways to take it all in than by luxury yacht.

Antibes to Cannes

Enjoy the morning cruise to the iconic city of Antibes and relish the view as you pull into a marina that is hull-to-hull with the world’s largest yachts. Spend the afternoon ashore, complete with lunch and a bottle of rosé, and then visit the Picasso Museum to add a bit of culture to the day. In the evening, Cannes awaits.

ICONIC COASTLINE

3

Saint-Tropez

An early morning departure from Cannes will allow time to visit Pampelonne Beach, one of Saint-Tropez’s most famous strips of sand. After catching some rays in the same spot as many bikini-clad legends, such as Brigitte Bardot, enjoy dinner at Alain Ducasse’s Rivea at Byblos Saint-Tropez. You’ll find everything from haute boutiques to incredible street markets along the narrow alleyways and cobblestone streets of this Côte d’Azur hot spot. 4

Île de Porquerolles

The island of Porquerolles lies in the Gulf of Hyères. Here you will find beautiful beaches, rolling hills, vineyards and a stunning forest — a large portion of the island is now a national park. No cars are allowed on the island, so exploration must be done by foot or by bike. Despite its remoteness, Porquerolles plays host to some excellent cuisine. Enjoy a meal at Le Mas du Langoustier. 5

Îles de Lérins

The picture-perfect islands of Îles de Lérins are set just off the coast of Antibes. Well known for its abbey, Saint-Honorat is inhabited by Cistercian monks who craft beautiful white wines. Sainte-Marguerite also is a famed isle. Its fort hosted the mysterious Man in the Iron Mask. Enjoy the serenity of exploring both islands. 6

Villefranche-sur-Mer

Villefranche-sur-Mer is an idyllic little village that looks to have popped straight out of a storybook. The Medieval architecture and narrow brick-laden roads that lead to steep cliffs dropping off into a crystalline sea will keep you wandering. The streets are lined with incredible local haunts. Be sure to visit Eze, a hilltop village with incredible views. 7 8

Monaco

Despite its penchant for glamour, Monaco also boasts some enticing tourist spots. Tour about the Prince’s Palace, explore the Exotic Garden or dive deep at the Oceanographic Museum and Aquarium. The next morning, enjoy a leisurely breakfast on board before disembarking.

THE BALEARICS EIGHT-DAY ITINERARY 1

Palma

Palma, the capital of the Balearics, is easily accessible, making it the perfect place to begin your luxury charter. Here, history abounds. The city’s iconic gothic cathedral is a must-see. Be sure you also leave time to explore the Cuevas del Drach (Caves of the Dragon) at Porto Cristo, an incredible underground lake. 2

Cabrera

Cabrera is an uninhabited islet off the typical tourist path as it has only one anchorage and requires a permit to go ashore. Hike about this national park or take the yacht’s toys for a spin offshore. Keep your eyes peeled for dolphins and other sea life. Enjoy a sunset dinner at anchor, and then make way for a night crossing to Formentera. 3

Formentera

Escape to Formentera, which remains largely unspoiled. Here, you will find secluded beaches fringed by palms and pine and quaint little towns to explore. Es Pujols is known for incredible local cuisine. Enjoy a lunch of fish soup and grilled seafood. 4

Ibiza

The whitewashed island of Ibiza is one of the top party spots in the world. The club hub of the Med plays host to some of the most soughtafter DJs and celebrities through the summer months. But there’s more to Ibiza than meets the eye. Take a day off from the party scene to discover the Cueva de Es Cuieram, an ancient Greek temple hidden inside a cave or drawings from the Bronze Age at Ses Fontanellas, which does require a bit of a hike. 5

Cala Portinatx

Located at the north end of the island, Cala Portinatx is a secluded little port with pristine beaches framed by lush pine forests. The antithesis of Ibiza, relaxation is imminent. Enjoy the peace and quiet for a little while. 6

Puerto Portals

Puerto Portals quickly has risen as a shining marina in the Mediterranean. With a full range of luxury amenities, it is an excellent location for a day of shopping and an evening of wining and dining — Tristán restaurant overlooks the marina and boasts a wine cellar that rivals some of Europe’s best. 7 8

Palma

A short cruise will take you back to Palma. Spend the morning strolling the city’s medieval streets. Stop for lunch at the delectable must-visit restaurant Simply Fosh. The next morning, enjoy a leisurely breakfast on board before disembarking.

PART Y ISLAND From the notoriously sunny city of Palma on Mallorca to the ever-festive party atmosphere of Ibiza, the Balearic Islands have so much to offer. Secluded beaches and private anchorages can be found around the corner from historic medieval landmarks and Europe’s hottest nightlife. Explore the island of Menorca, which is home to a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, meaning almost half of its land is beautifully undeveloped. By day, laze about white-sand beaches and splash in the shimmering blue sea; by night, enjoy spectacular Spanish cuisine at any of the incredible restaurants found on each island or dance until dawn at the famous nightclubs. Some of the best spots on Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera are accessible only by sea, making exploration by yacht the best possible option.

As you continue to cruise southeast, you’ll be enamored by the beauty of Cala Luna. Anchor offshore to take in the stunning scene, featuring steep limestone cliffs covered by lush flora. Early risers will be amazed by the beautiful sunrise illuminating the coastal caves. Created by a landslide in 1962, Cala Goloritzé is one of Sardinia’s most beautiful spots. Steep rocks tower over the sparkling sea that laps the white-pebble-and-sand beach. This dream-like shore is primed for exploration.

3

4

Cagliari

Southern Sardinia is home to Cagliari, the island’s capital since Roman times. Il Castello, “old town,” is a delightful maze of medieval buildings, boasting history and culture. But the best way to see Cagliari is by sea. Enjoy the views of the contemporary harbor juxtaposed to castles and the old districts. An archaeology museum in town will take you back in time — it’s home to the Nuragic complex, 4,000-year-old stone defensive structures found only in Sardinia. If history isn’t on the menu, enjoy some local shopping on Via Roma and Via Manu.

4

5

Southwest Sardinia

Continue cruising the coastline, dotted with tiny towns and cozy coves, and you will come to the Sardinian Islands. Sant’Antioco, the larger island, and San Pietro-Punto di Cala Fico are wild and ruggedly beautiful with deep waters and high cliffs. Charters with children will want to stop at Forte Village Le Dune. Not only does it boast the Thermae de Forte, a leading spa of the world, but also go-karting, ice skating, bowling (more can be found at LeisureLand). Also stop at Le Dune, Italy’s highest sand dunes — a spectacular sight. 6

Alghero

Continuing up the west coast of Sardinia, you’ll find Alghero, which boasts a strong Catalan flavor. The influences can be seen throughout the old town. Walk the cobblestone streets along the old fort for scenic views. The Grotte di Nettuno is one of Alghero finest features. This whimsical cave is full of geological wonders. Wine lovers will rejoice at Alghero’s impressive vineyards. Enjoy a wine tasting before dinner in this beautiful old town. 7 8

La Maddalena

Sitting pretty on the coast of northern Sardinia, world-class beaches, both sandy and rocky, abound. Off the coast from these beaches is the island of La Maddalena. Declared a national park in 1996, it is part of an archipelago, which comprises six other beautiful islands. Anchor offshore and take a tender to explore. HONEY ISLAND The country of Malta may be small in size, but what it lacks in square meters, it makes up in spades with its unique culture. Nestled in the heart of the Western Mediterranean Sea, off the coast of Italy, it is primed for exploration by superyacht. From the beautiful seaside capital of Valletta, which happens to be a UNESCO World Heritage City, to Malta’s quaint sister island Gozo, there is so much to see and experience. Valletta is regarded as the European Capital of Culture 2018. History abounds in Malta where you can find everything from cathedrals to the legacy of the Knights of St. John to Neolithic temples. MUST-DO M A LTA TEN ACTIVITIES No matter how you arrive in Malta, by superyacht or plane, there is so much to do on this little island. From diving the Blue Grotto to hiking limestone cliffs, be sure to hit every spot on this top-10 list for the ultimate Malta experience.

1. Saint John’s Co-Cathedral

The intricately adorned walls of the St. John’s Co-Cathedral in Malta are sure to leave you breathless. This baroque-style church harbors one of the most expensive 17th century interiors in Europe. Also found within the walls is the epic Beheading of John the Baptist painting by Caravaggio as well as the relic tombstones of the famed Knights of Malta.

2. Maltese Festivals

There are few things as lively as the Village Festas that are held weekly throughout the island’s cities and villages. They give a new meaning to dancing in the streets. From celebrations for patron saints to incredible processions and firework-filled skies, if you’re in town from May to August, find a festival and enjoy.

3. Gozo

The beauty of Gozo is enchanting. Only a 30-minute ferry ride from Malta, this summer hot spot for the Maltese is ripe for exploration. You can enjoy a leisurely four- to five-hour walk through the fields and villages, enjoying artists’ studios and incredible rolling hills adorned with blooming flora.

4. Upper Barrakka Gardens

There are few better places to enjoy views of the Grand Harbour than the Upper Barrakka Gardens. The sweeping sights are ideal for any photographers, who can get snap happy capturing the boats below as well as towns of Senglea and Vittoriosa. The Gardens also are the ideal spot for a picnic on a sunny afternoon. Check out the café or bring your own feast from the yacht.

5. Hagar Qim & Mnajdra Temples

Likened to Stonehenge, Hagar Qim and the Mnajdra Temples are designated UNESCO World Heritage sites. The structures date back to somewhere between 3600 and 3200 BC. Found in 1839, a mere €10 allows you access. Mystery still shrouds the sites as it is not exactly known for what the structurers were used. If you walk the small, winding path to the ocean, you’ll see the temple doorway that calculates the sun’s rise on the solstices and equinoxes.

6. St. Paul’s Grotto, Church & Catacombs

Sometime around 60 AD, the Apostle Paul and 274 other souls were shipwrecked off the coast of Malta while en route to Rome. Legend proclaims that the survivors took sanctuary in the grotto, which then became a holy place upon which a church and monument were constructed. Evidence of Malta’s earliest Christianity, the Catacombs encompass more than 21,00 square feet of underground twists, turns and chambers for burials.

7. The Blue Lagoon

Comino is Malta’s third island. While it’s mostly barren, there is one hot spot that you must visit: The Blue Lagoon. Ideally suited for a leisurely afternoon of swimming, snorkeling and soaking in the sunshine, take a boat or the yacht’s tender to enjoy the beautiful azure water.

8. Mdina

Known as the Silent City, the fortified metropolis in Malta’s northern region was once its capital. The walls of this medieval marvel are striking. Stoll the city’s streets as you seemingly step back in time, enjoying an eclectic mix of Norman and Baroque architecture. There are no cars allowed in Mdina, adding to its ancient charm.

9. Salt Pans

Gozo’s northern coast is home to one of the most significant Maltese rituals: sea-salt production. The salt pans are a three-kilometer stretch of rock that dates back almost 350 years. A prime source of income for island inhabitants, this now-tourist attraction welcomes guests to watch the locals who scrape salt crystals from the rock and store them in local caves. Be sure to bring home a jar of this iconic salt.

10. The Blue Grotto

Malta’s iconic Blue Grotto is found along the island’s southwest coast. This less-touristy, but maybe-more-incredible spot is only 10 minutes from the international airport. You could make it your first or last (or both) stop. The yacht’s tender or a local hired boat will bring you through the mouth of a cave where, from the early morning hours until just about 1 p.m., the sunshine seeps in turning the water a deep, sparkling sapphire. Be sure to bring your camera to capture the magic.

Walk the streets or take a guided tour of Old Town, where vehicles are prohibited. Perfectly situated on the Adriatic Sea, Dubrovnik boasts a maritime history, as well as a penchant for creating impressive seafood delights. “Peka” is a must-try dish. 2

Bay of Kotor

The Bay of Kotor in Montenegro is well known for its beauty. Situated in the middle of the bay is Our Lady of the Rocks, a man-made islet built by sailors throughout centuries. The first known church was built on the islet in 1452. Now home to a museum, as well as a Catholic church, the islet can be explored after a morning tender ride. Later, take the tender to Ćatovića Mlini in Morinj for dinner ashore. 3

Kotor

Kotor boasts otherworldly views of its bay. This UNESCO World Heritage Site has so much to offer. Dating back to 168 B.C., history abounds here. In the morning, stop for some local coffee and “krempita,” a delectable cake, before exploring. For your evening meal, visit Stari Mlini, a five-star restaurant boasting some of the city’s best food. This romantic little spot was once a mill and now offers dining under the stars. 4

Budva

Plava Spilja, or the Blue Grotto, is a must-visit while en route from Kotor to Budva. This incredible cave, accessible by boat only, gets its name from the stunning hues created inside as the beautiful blue water refracts sunlight onto the walls. Then head for Budva. At more than 2,500 years old, Budva is one of the oldest cities on the Adriatic. The city is ripe with activities, including shopping for both luxury brands and local goods. Spend the afternoon sampling Montenegrin wines or pop into the Astoria hotel for a sweet afternoon treat. 5

Saranda

Perched perfectly on the Ionian Sea with a stunning mountainous backdrop, Saranda is a beautiful little town in southern Albania. It is located close to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Butrint, an epicenter of seafaring life in ancient times. The ruins bring thousands of tourists annually. After sightseeing, make way for Lekursi Castle where you can enjoy an aperitif while admiring the views below. 7 8

Corfu

Cruising southwest from Saranda, you will reach Greece’s stunning isle of Corfu. The crystalline waters and white sand of the beaches will beckon you. Drink in the culture and enjoy delicious wines while feasting on classic Greek dishes at the local tavernas found all over the island. The next morning, enjoy a leisurely breakfast on board before disembarking.

UNIQUE C U LT U R E The Eastern Mediterranean offers charter guests everything from beautiful beaches to luxury shopping, incredible history and world-class dining experiences, but with the added benefit of being much less crowded during the summer months than its Western counterpart. Cruise past jagged coastlines that drop off into the emerald-colored Adriatic Sea and take in the natural wonders that abound. Walk the narrow streets of antiquity, once home to renowned empires that have now fallen, providing beautiful ruins. Bridging the gap between the East and West, the Eastern Med is a veritable melting pot of societies, boasting a unique culture. Despite a torrid past, this area of the world is quickly becoming a hot spot for yachting, which has brought on an array of luxury marinas, such as Porto Montenegro, to assure all the modern amenities you expect during a luxury yacht charter. Old-world charm can be found at every cobblestone-laden corner from Croatia to Montenegro to Greece and beyond.

LAST FRONTIER

ALASKA

Waking up to a stunning secluded bay surrounded by glaciers is an experience one only can have during an Alaskan luxury charter. Few moments take your breath away quite like the first time you see a mammoth glistening glacier in person. “The Last Frontier,” is full of incredible outdoor pursuits.

EIGHT-DAY ITINERARY

For the adventurous at heart, an Alaska yacht charter is the perfect summer charter experience. Spend your days fishing for Alaskan salmon, kayaking through pristine bays next to humpback whales, seals and orcas, and hiking the shoreline, where wildlife — including bears, bald eagles and moose — abounds. In the evenings, drop anchor and enjoy alfresco dinners with snow-capped mountain backdrops. Your Alaskan luxury yacht charter will take you to small fishing outposts, serene sheltered islands and many beautiful places beyond your wildest dreams.

1

Sitka & Red Bluff Bay

Meet the yacht in Sitka, Alaska. After embarking, cruise to the Peril and Chatham Straits. While en route, stop for a dip in the geothermal Baranof Warm Springs, which are found next to a majestic 100-foot waterfall. Anchor for the evening in Red Bluff Bay. This secluded anchorage is home to stunning waterfalls that simply must be seen to be believed. 2

Brothers Islands

An early morning cruise from Red Bluff Bay to Frederick Sound is perfect for whale watching. This well-known spot is full of humpbacks and even a few orcas. Oftentimes they can be seen breaching just a few meters from the yacht. After the excitement, cruise to Brothers Islands for the evening. Here is another wildlife hotspot — keep your eyes peeled for sea lions. 3

Tracy Arm

Make way from Brothers Islands to the Tracy Arm fjord, which is a haven for wildlife. But animals aren’t the only incredible sight here. The twin Sawyer Glaciers are found at the end of Tracy Arm. These mammoth icy glaciers move a distance of two feet a day, plunging into the beautiful waters ahead. For a better look, make use of the yacht’s toys, kayaks or paddleboards, to get up close and personal with this natural wonder. 4 5

Petersburg

Cruising south, you will find “Little Norway.” The quaint village of Petersburg was settled by Scandinavian immigrants whose beautiful heritage lives on here. The indigenous people of Petersburg, the Tlingit Indians, also left behind history. Beautiful totem poles, including the largest in Alaska, can be found in the area. Spend your day immersed in the history of this wondrous little town. One of the best views of the glaciers is from above. Dress warmly for your chartered helicopter ride and alfresco lunch on one of the glaciers. Petersburg also offers an array of hiking trails and other excursions, including golf. 6 7 8

Wrangell Island

Cruising east of Petersburg, you will find the LeConte Glacier. When underwater icebergs split from LeConte, they’re said to shoot into the air, due to a high buoyancy — keep your eyes peeled. Continue on to Wrangell Island, part of the Tongass National Forest; there is much natural beauty to be explored here. The following day after breakfast, disembark on Wrangell Island. Spend the day sightseeing before enjoying one last dinner aboard the yacht. Your last morning aboard, enjoy a leisurely breakfast on board before disembarking.

Newport

Newport is renowned as New England’s sailing hub. Embark the yacht and be dazzled by the beautiful views of this island’s historic waterfront. Bannister’s Wharf is the perfect place for your first taste of New England fare. Spend the evening exploring this delightful spot. 2

HISTORY ABOUNDS America is a relatively young nation, but history abounds in New England where the country’s first settlers planted roots. From the dark days of Salem’s witch trials to the rebellious ride of Paul Revere, New England is rich with antiquity. Through those struggles and triumphs, great traditions were born, many of which are still seen and celebrated today. Cruise the coastal waters of New England and you’ll spy classic New England homes clad with gray shingles next to magnificent lighthouses. Pop ashore for an old-fashioned clam or lobster bake. America’s yachting tradition began in these coastal waters. The beautiful islands of Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard are summer havens for New Englanders who wish to escape the city heat for the relaxed breezes of the northern Atlantic Ocean. Wander the cobblestone streets while enjoying an afternoon ice cream and perusing the antique markets and you’re sure to fall in love. From the modern metropolis of Boston to quaint fishing villages like Block Island, the best way to experience New England is by sea on board a luxury charter yacht.

Martha’s Vineyard

Before leaving Newport, go for a cliff walk and you’ll be enamored by the beautiful mansions along the route. If there’s time, stop at Castle Hill Inn and enjoy the view from the front lawn. History buffs should head for the Freedom Trail to walk back in time to the beginnings of the Revolutionary War. Spend the last day of your charter in Boston. ISLE OF WONDER The ultimate explorer’s paradise, the Galápagos is a protected natural wonderland that is ripe for discovery. Renowned as Charles Darwin’s research haven in the 1830s, these islands are brimming with life both above and below the waterline. Not only is there an abundance of wildlife found on the islands, but also many of the creatures are unique to the Galápagos, making the islands the only place to find them outside of a zoo. The islands are extremely protected. The best way to explore them is by yacht, just as Darwin did. The governing body of the islands, the Parque Nacional Galápagos, sets a limit to the number of yachts able to cruise these waters annually; in addition, the Parque Nacional Galápagos also provides itineraries as to where yachts are able to cruise and where guests are able to explore. For private charterers, the parameters provide another level of confidentiality while enjoying a luxury yacht charter. The Galápagos Islands are a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as one of the Seven Wonders of the Natural World, spurring their addition to bucket lists across the globe. Spend your days in full-blown adventure mode and then retire to the yacht for five-star luxury, cocktails and a dip in the spa pool.

SCENIC VIEWS Boasting more fjords than any other country in the world, Norway is renowned for these stunning inlets that have forged through forests and mountains alike, creating some of the world’s most scenic vistas. Towering precipices, jagged coastlines, otherworldly waterfalls and deep ravines all were created as glaciers recoiled and the seas moved in, leaving beauty in their wakes. Despite Norway’s northern location, the Gulf Stream has created a temperate climate with little ice here, allowing yachts to freely navigate these striking waters. Nature lovers flock to Norway for its abundance of outdoor activities. Hiking, biking, glacier walking, fishing, kayaking and white-water rafting all are on the menu. A yacht is an ideal means of exploring Norway’s fjords. The country’s midnight sun during the summer hours allows guests to see the sights any time of day. UNESCO has named two of the four fjords of Norway World Heritage Sites, proclaiming them as some of the world’s most splendid locations.

One of the world’s seven wonders, Australia’s Great Barrier Reef also is one of the most exciting yachting destinations. A yacht charter of Hamilton Island and the rest of the Whitsundays offers you complete access to the world’s most famous reef. Tropical beaches abound, but they pale in comparison to the natural splendor beneath the waterline. More than 350,000 square kilometers of reef, coral outcrops, cays, atolls and lagoons are waiting to be explored. The Great Barrier Reef may well be the ultimate diver’s bucket-list location. Luckily, there are many laws and regulations in place to keep the reef safe from destruction. Ashore, the Whitsundays island chain comprises 74 islands; Hamilton Island is the largest. As you hop from island to island, you will find beautiful beaches, lush “bushlands” and incredible wildlife. Cruise the stunning, crystalline waters of the western Pacific for a yacht charter unlike any other.

EIGHT-DAY ITINERARY 1 2

Fly into Hamilton Island’s airport and meet the yacht at the Hamilton Island Marina. Your first stop is the Great Barrier Reef. Spend the next two days exploring the reef by yacht tender, helicopter and seaplane — all of which are found on Hamilton Island. 3

Later, you can set sail in search of quaint bays, go for an uphill walk to the view point for stunning views of the white sandy beaches and azure bays below. If you’re adventurous, explore Phi Phi Island cave or hit the beach for some water sports. Phi Phi is a good place to arrange rendezvous scuba diving, as there are many dive shops on the island. 3

Koh Ngai

Officially part of the Koh Lanta National Marine Park, Koh Ngai (also spelled Hai) is home to a long sliver of white sand and incredible views of Koh Muk’s limestone karsts and the mainland. Neighboring Koh Muk and Koh Kradan join Koh Ngai to form a triangle that makes it easy to hop from one island to the next. Dotted in between the rocky islets of Koh Maa, Koh Chueakand Koh Kaen, you’ll find good snorkeling sites. 4

Koh Muk

Visit the Emerald Cave, an old pirate hangout we have been told, on KOH MUK very early in the morning, or in the late afternoon. A short swim from the ocean and through a cave will lead you to this magical, enclosed beach with stunning, emerald-colored water. Later, sail around the island, go beach-combing and find your own treasures 5

Koh Rok Nok

Sail to Koh Rok Nok, part of the Marine National Park. It’s a protected wildlife habitat, virtually in the middle of nowhere. Beautiful coral gardens and brightly colored fish are visible right underneath the yacht. Snorkel for hours in the warm waters and explore the underwater scenery. 6

Koh Ha

Koh Ha, which means five islands in Thai, has a central lagoon, ideal for snorkelers and beginning divers, and a large, sandy bay. The bay slopes gently onto the reef; snorkelers and divers can drift by and enjoy the sights. Koh Lanta is a National Marine Park, which has a wealth of islands. From dramatic limestone cliffs to winding mangrove rivers and hidden caves to stunning beaches, there is a multitude of things to do and see. 7

Koh Yao

We can’t share the exact location, but we’re going to visit a secret beach on Koh Yao. Here, the crew will set up a full-day beach barbecue that runs right through your evening meal. Enjoy sunset cocktails then a bonfire. 8

Tahiti

Arrive in Papeete, Tahiti. Embark the yacht at Marina Taina. Enjoy your first meal on board then spend some time getting acquainted with the yacht. In the afternoon visit the Robert Wan Pearl Museum. 2

Moorea

Make way for Moorea, Polynesia’s second-most popular spot after Tahiti. Moorea is a triangular-shaped island encircled by a lagoon of translucent green, fringed by an azure blue Polynesian sea. Enjoy watersports and a visit to the Marae and Belvedere. In the evening, depart for Huahine.

OCEAN VIEWS Located almost mid-way between California, United States, and Australia, the Islands of Tahiti certainly are worth a visit. The main island of Tahiti and its sister islands cover more than four million square miles of ocean. Comprising five archipelagos, four of which are volcanic, there are more than 118 heavenly islands to discover during an Islands of Tahiti yacht charter. View rugged highlands and low-lying valleys that create stunning vistas of waterfalls and seaside cliffs as you cruise from Tahiti to Bora Bora, Moorea, Tikehau, Fakarava and beyond. Romance is just a cruise away when you visit Bora Bora on your South Pacific yacht charter. A serene bluish-green lagoon sets the stunning tone as you enjoy the yacht’s tenders and toys or simply lay back and allow the passion to wash over you. Sunset cruises and hikes to panoramic vistas are on offer. High-end boutiques can be found on the island — many of which sell incredibly beautiful Tahitian pearls. A photograph cannot fully capture the illumination of Matira Beach on Bora Bora. Find the sun here during your Islands of Tahiti yacht charter.

3

Huahine

Wake up in Huahine for a day of water activities and land excursions. Huahine is arguably the most picturesque French Polynesian island. With steep mountains descending into protected bays of emerald green, the island also is one of the more geographically diverse of the Society Group. In the evening, cruise for Taha’a. 4

Taha’a

Taha’a produces 70 to 80 percent of all French Polynesia’s vanilla. Because of the aroma, Taha’a is known as the “Vanilla Island.” Enjoy visiting the vanilla farms or the famous Relais & Chateaux Le Taha’a Island Resort and Spa. Taha’a’s pearls are exceptional, so take advantage of the black pearl farms. 5

Raiatea

Wake up in Raiatae after an early morning sail. Far less traveled than Bora Bora, Tahiti or Moorea, this fascinating island offers a taste of true unspoiled French Polynesia. Visit the Marae Taputapuatea, the oldest Marae of the Maori culture. 6 7 8

Bora Bora

Bora Bora Island is possibly the single most famous island in the world. Spend two days in Bora Bora exploring the U.S. World War II military bases, snorkeling or diving in the island’s lagoons and soaking in all this piece of paradise has on offer. The last morning, enjoy a leisurely breakfast on board before disembarking.

CHAI RUM THE WORLD DISTILLED IN A GLASS There are few family owned true West Indian rums left in the world and Akal Chai Rum is among them. While the idea of mixing tea with rum originated more than 400 years ago, this limited-reserve dark rum is the first of its kind. Chai Rum’s conception was inspired by a Dutch admiral’s seventeenth century idea: “the combination of tea with rum is most delightful.” So, the makers of Chai Rum began to marry eight- to 10-year-old limited-reserve rums with two types of high-altitude teas and more than 15 tropical, aromatic botanicals to create the most sophisticated sipping rum in the world. The process of making AKAL Chai Rum is a carefully guarded trade secret; it has been recognized as the first, true innovation in rum production in more than a century by the Government of Trinidad and Tobago. This spirt has a 95-point rating from the Tasting Panel in the United States, which puts it in a highly exclusive category. Created to be enjoyed as a sipping product, the rum’s complex profile beckoned the attention of the world’s top mixologists and aficionados, providing them with a new inspiration for cocktails and elevating the art of rum mixology. Through this, the experience of “The World Distilled in a Glass,” was born. You can visit it at www. chairum.com or on YouTube (Akal Chai rum). You will discover Chai Rum’s signature smoke service “The Mariners Flight,” and cocktails that take you from East to West, across seasons, cultures and time. Chai Rum is proud to be a global strategic partner of Northrop & Johnson, and share with the company and its clients a love of the world and adventure. chairum.com

At Northrop & Johnson, we believe both are of the utmost importance and are proud to have ample industry knowledge and experience as well as premium brand partners and strategic affiliations with reputable companies and associations within the yachting and luxury lifestyle industries. We believe that through synergy, we can become stronger together.
