So, here it is, North Hop Aberdeen ‘The Final Fling’! But don’t be sad, we have pulled together our best line-up yet to ensure we send off our main festivals in true North Hop style this weekend! We are delighted to be supporting local, and also venturing further afield for this festival. With new local breweries and food trucks, guest spirits from across the globe, some North Hop virgins, and some brand new collabs, we’ve most certainly got it going on. Once again we have the amazing STV’s Nicola McAlley as MC extraordinaire and MeToo as our official charity, so please dig deep and support this awesome cause!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been involved with and supported our main festivals over the past few years, it has been an amazing journey, and this most certainly isn’t the end for North Hop! Keep an eye on our social channels for upcoming ventures...
We are delighted to have the above brands showcasing their awesome products on the debut outing of the North Hop Bar this weekend. This bar has been a long time in the making and we hope you will agree it looks fab. Shout out to Laura from Juniper Press, the mastermind behind the design and everyone who helped to pull it together. Following North Hop Aberdeen we hope to use the bar to pop-up at other events/festivals across Scotland and it will also be available to hire for your special events... Berry Bros & Rudd London Dry Gin, Penny Blue VSOP (Mauritian Rum), Hop Head Vodka (American), Kings Ginger Liqueur, and The Glenrothes Vintage Reserve (Speyside Single Malt) will be available from the bar as serves or in cocktails, so make sure you swing by for a chat with the guys and have our talented mixologists shake you up a drink or two!

Glass rinsing stations and fresh drinking water can be found within the main room. Please note, all bars and stands are operated on a cash basis and no token system is in place.
SESSION TIMES FRIDAY 30TH MARCH 2018 7PM TO 12AM SATURDAY 31ST MARCH 2018 12PM TO 5PM & 7PM TO 12AM
Your hand stamp or wristband you are given on arrival will allow you re-entry during the specified session/s.
All bars will be open from the session start time until 15 minutes prior to the session end time (last orders will be called 30 minutes before the session end time), and any off-sales alcohol purchases must be made before 10pm during the evening session.
Beers/ciders will be served as 2/3 pint or 1/2 pint measures.
The nearest cash machine is located in the main Concourse of the AECC but charges do apply, please ask one of our crew members or security for directions if required.
Please note that any off-sales alcohol purchases made during the evening session must either be taken off the premises by 10pm or can be left at a designated collection point within the AECC for collection at a location in the City Centre the following day.
The festival glass you received on arrival is yours to keep, so please hold onto it as you will require it for all beers/ciders, and you can also use it for cocktails/drinks.
GETTING AROUND You’ll find both the Beer Hall and the Cocktail Lounge along with the main stage within the Boyd Orr Suite of the AECC. Registration and Merchandise can be found in the Concourse area as you come through the main entrance to the AECC. Toilets can be found opposite the Boyd Orr Suite entrance/exit.
