Welcome to the Directors’ Circle – a closer connection to Northern Ballet As Northern Ballet's Artistic Director I would like to invite you to join our new Directors' Circle. For more than 40 years Northern Ballet has brought the most exciting dance to audiences across the country and overseas. We have been recognised for raising the profile of dance through our high quality productions that mix classical ballet and theatre to create a highly entertaining experience which appeals to a wide audience. Northern Ballet creates more new full-length productions than any other major ballet company and we give opportunities to young dancers and artists that do not exist elsewhere. By joining the Directors' Circle you will help us to continue to grow and thrive while a series of exclusive events will give you an insight into the choreography, music, costume and set design, allowing you to develop a closer relationship with the dancers and creative team. I hope you will join us. Thank you. David Nixon OBE, Artistic Director

Northern Ballet is a national treasure and I am delighted to be the founding member of its Directors’ Circle. I very much hope that you will consider joining me and a growing group of individuals who have a passion for dance and a commitment to invest in the future of one of the country’s most successful dance companies. Phil Swallow, founding member of the Directors' Circle
