SD-WAN
SD-WAN is an acronym for Software-Defined Wide Area Network.
SD-WAN separates control, settings and monitoring (the control plane) from the equipment that connects the communication (the data plane). The control plane is configured and controlled centrally. Routers can be of a simpler design (less processing power) because they do not have to "think for themselves". You could say that you separate the brain from the body. Changes, updates and other instructions can be sent to all nodes in the network in a single operation.
The network can use several types of connections and network technologies between nodes, depending on circumstances and policies. If one connection is down or fails, communication can be switched to another.
An SD-WAN can also handle multiple cloud services and mobile
users in a simpler way, as such connections do not need to be routed through the headquarters node. You could say that SD-WAN acts as a "traffic manager" that very intelligently routes data in real time as it travels across different connections. This flexible routing allows organizations to make the best use of their network, compute and storage resources and helps improve performance, availability, security, stability and redundancy.

SPEEDFUSION
Peplink's SpeedFusion is a patented VPN technology, and because it is VPN, two or more SpeedFusion enabled devices are required.

SpeedFusion is used in several markets, such as corporate offices, industrial facilities, and automotive and shipping. To meet different needs, Peplink has developed different forms of SpeedFusion technology.
HOT FAILOVER
Hot Failover allows two nodes with SpeedFusion to maintain the session despite the router switching between the different WAN connections used. This is completely independent of which WAN connections the router switches between, it can be fixed line, mobile data, WiFi or a combination of these. This technology makes it possible to maintain the stability of authenticated sessions, video conferencing and other applications that require a reliable connection even when the connection changes. Hot Failover is the basis for the other technologies in SpeedFusion.

WAN SMOOTHING
For streaming technologies like VoIP and video conferencing, connection quality affects the user experience. High response times affect the flow of calls, while packet loss leads to jitter and missing words or entire sentences. WAN Smoothing minimizes power and reduces latency by using more bandwidth via packet data duplication. The packet data that arrives first is used while the other is discarded.
BANDWIDTH BONDING
Bandwidth Bonding is one of SpeedFusion's features when you need the highest possible bandwidth. Bandwidth Bonding combines data at the packet level, allowing you to combine the speed of multiple connections. This is useful for situations where bandwidth is scarce, such as in a remote location or in a moving vehicle. This technology also allows branches to connect to headquarters with higher connection speeds.
Here is an example of how SpeedFuson can be used to transmit IP video from one location to a data center over multiple WAN links.

TRANSIT DUO PRO
Transit Duo Pro has a compact chassis, WiFi 6 as well as a faster processor and upgraded memory. This makes it an ideal mobile router for those looking for the most reliable internet solution for mobile use. In Transit Duo Pro there are 2x CAT-7 LTEA or CAT-12 LTEA modems. By using SIM cards from different operators, the user gets the opportunity to use Peplink's smart algorithms for SD-WAN. WiFi 6 creates a faster connection from your router to wirelessly connected devices.
BR1 MINI (HW3)
The MAX BR1 Mini is completely redesigned with a new ruggedized housing that can withstand harsh conditions, an upgraded processor and 1x CAT-6 LTEA modem for improved performance. The BR1 Mini features WiFi 5 technology with support for simultaneous dual-band at 2.4GHz/5GHz. There are 2x SIM card slots which allow you to have SIM cards from different operators, and choose which SIM card will be used by the modem.
BR1 PRO LTEA
The BR1 Pro is an upgraded version of the previous BR1 Pro with a new chassis, better processor, 1x CAT-20 LTEA modem and WiFi 6. There are 2x SIM card slots which allow you to have SIM cards from different operators, and choose which SIM card will be used by the modem. The latest WIFI 6 technology provides much faster throughput than its predecessor while providing Ethernet ports for the more demanding devices.
HD2/HD4 MBX
The HD4 MBX is a powerful mobile router with 4x CAT-12 LTEA modems and supports up to 8x SIM cards, and with room for an additional 8x SIM cards with an optional SIM injector. For future technologies, MBX has interchangeable modems, so when you need to upgrade to 5G, you can replace the old modems with new ones. MBX is capable of 2.5Gbps throughput, giving you plenty of bandwidth for Gigabit Ethernet, 5G or other future technologies. The MBX is fanless and is well suited to environments where routers with fans would quickly break down. There are 8x 802.3at PoE outputs to power e.g. IP phones, cameras and access points. HD2 MBX has 2x CAT-20 LTEA modems and supports 4x SIM cards.

HD2/HD4 MBX 5G
MAX BR1 is now also available in a 5G version. The BR1 Pro 5G has a new form factor on the chassis and is equipped with 1x 5G modem and WiFi 6 for more stable and faster transmission. There are also two LAN ports for more demanding devices. BR1 PRO 5G has two SIM card slots to be able to use SIM cards from different operators for redundancy.
MAX BR2 PRO 5G
BR2 Pro 5G is a new model that has 2x 5G modems and WiFi 6 for more stable and faster transmission. The BR2 Pro 5G has twice as many LAN ports as the BR1 Pro 5G, allowing multiple wired devices to be connected without the need for a separate switch. This model also has a serial port for direct connection to equipment with a com port.
MBX MINI 5G
MBX Mini 5G is a powerhouse designed for high capacity mobile internet use. With its fanless design, MBX Mini 5G is optimal for use in harsh environments. MBX Mini 5G is equipped with 2x 5G modems and also delivers WiFi 5 to securely connect your wireless devices. MBX Mini 5G also comes with four 802.3at PoE outputs to power e.g. cameras, IP phones and access points. MBX Mini 5G has three power inputs in case redundant power supply is needed.

HD1 DOME PRO/ DOME PRO DUO
Dome Pro Duo is a router with 2x 5G modems and antennas in one IP67 rated device. By mounting the modem and antenna in one and the same unit, you ensure minimal cable loss and the best signal quality. Peplink has now also equipped Dome Pro with WiFi 6 for a complete internet solution. Dome Pro Duo supports 4x SIM cards and with SIM injector there is room for an additional 8x SIM cards. Dome Pro is powered by PoE (Power over Ethernet) through optional SIM injector or via an Ethernet switch. HD1 Dome Pro has 1x 5G modem and supports 2x SIM cards.
INCONTROL
Network management requires constant maintenance, standardized device configuration, network status monitoring and urgent troubleshooting. InControl 2 allows you to perform all these functions for the entire network and from any web browser. The platform has been developed to manage and monitor devices across multiple organizations in a single interface.
