ABOUT: MAINSITE Contemporary Art: Home of the Norman Arts Council debuts The OU MFA Thesis Exhibit, featuring the work of graduating University of Oklahoma masters students Brent Richardson, Erin Shaw, Jacquelyn Sparks, Spencer Ulm and Stuart Whitis. The Water Closet Gallery will feature photos of the behind-the-scenes work of the OU MFA Program. N. Harold Donley will hold a rare public book signing of his science fiction book Outworld in the Library Gallery. Copies will be available for purchase.

ABOUT: Sierra Club will be set up in front of MAINSITE Contemporary Art with information about climate change and coal pollution, as well as a live painting with artist Tiffany Edwards


WHAT: Closing Reception for Dreams WHERE: The Performing Arts Studio, 200 S. Jones WHEN: 6 to 9 p.m.

ABOUT: The Performing Arts Studio presents a collaborative exhibit from Norman artists Carolyn Faseler, Corazon Watkins and Betty Wood titled Dreams, the subject matter being dedicated to the complicated nightime experiences and intrepretations thereof. The OU Steel Drum Band will also be on hand for a pair of performances starting at 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. respectively.

ABOUT: Firehouse Art Center presents a jewelry and metalsmithing exhibition of internationally known artists Charles Lewton-Brain and Charleen Weidell.
