WHAT: Closing Reception for Donald Longcrierâ€™s Wooden Fish WHERE: MAINSITE Contemporary Art, 122 E. Main WHEN: 6 to 10 p.m. ABOUT: MAINSITE Contemporary Art: Home of the Norman Arts Council
presents the latest work of Donald Longcrier in Wooden Fish, a collection of large-scale installation pieces that will take you to another world. Norman Arts Council Individual Artist and printmaker Barbara Ryan will present new works through Play Is Practice in the Library Gallery, and Norman printmaker Laura Reese curates a showcase of Estonian printmaking in the Water Closet Gallery.

ABOUT: Firehouse Art Center will open the annual Firehouse Holiday Gallery, offering a wide range of fine art and seasonal crafts from local artisans that make for wonderfully unique holiday gifts.
WHAT: Featured Artist Sharon Ahtone Harjo + Live Painting and Music WHERE: Jacobson House, 609 Chatauqua WHEN: 6 to 9 p.m. ABOUT: Jacobson House is proud to present renowned Kiowa artist Sharon Ahtone Harjo. Harjo will present her artwork and provide insight into life as a Kiowa artist. Jacobson House will also present up-and-coming Native artist Antonia Belindo and J. NiCole Hatfield with live painting demonstrations and entertainment by Brian Frejoâ€™s Shock B and the Culture Shock.
WHAT: Dreamer 51: A NewView of Art WHERE: Dreamer Concepts: An Art Space for Emerging Artists, 324 E. Main WHEN: 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. ABOUT: Dreamer Concepts opens with Dreamer 51: A NewView of Art, featuring artwork
created by blind and visually impaired Oklahomans. The exhibit comes courtesy of the Creative Visions Art Program created by NewView Oklahoma in partnership with Oklahoma Arts Council and Oklahoma City Museum of Art. Student bands from McMichael Music will also be on hand.
WHAT: Small Works Show WHERE: The Performing Arts Studio, 200 S. Jones WHEN: 6 to 9 p.m.
ABOUT: The Performing Arts Studio debuts the third annual Small Works Show, featuring art from Carolyn Faseler, Rick Fry, Skip Hill, Don Holladay, Tim Kenney, Brad Price, Bert Seabourn, Corazon Watkins and Betty Wood. There will also be a short artist chat from 7:30 to 8 p.m., along with live painting demonstrations throughout the evening.
