I am very proud to announce that this year Noordwijk is celebrating all things space! No surprise really, because hidden away in our dunes lies ESA-ESTEC (the European Space Research and Technology Centre of ESA). With ESTEC and the Space Business Park, Noordwijk is a centre of Dutch and European space travel. Various space-related events and activities will be held throughout the year. Experience space in Noordwijk, but in the meantime, whet your appetite reading all about it in this magazine! Van harte welkom in Noordwijk, de oase van rust en ruimte midden in de Randstad. Hier kun je genieten van de betoverende natuur: frisse zeelucht, een dertien kilometer lang zandstrand, robuuste duinen, weidse bossen, herten, reeën en in het voorjaar natuurlijk de geuren en kleuren van bloemenvelden. Daarnaast is er volop vertier: levendige boulevards, een bruisend uitgaansleven, de sfeervolle oude dorpskern, uitstekende restaurants, gastvrije hotels en talrijke evenementen. Met veel trots maak ik u erop attent dat Noordwijk dit jaar in het teken staat van Space! En dat is niet voor niets, want verscholen in onze duinen ligt ESA-ESTEC (het European Space Research and Technology Centre van ESA). Met ESTEC en het Space Business Park is Noordwijk een brandpunt in de Nederlandse en Europese ruimtevaart sector. In 2018 vinden het hele jaar diverse Space gerelateerde evenementen en activiteiten plaats. Ervaar de ruimte in Noordwijk, u leest er meer over in dit magazine. Hollandser kan het bijna niet: fietsen tussen de bloemenvelden. Af en toe moet er natuurlijk wel worden gestopt voor een foto. En dan weer door naar het volgende veld met weer een andere bloemsoort en weer een andere kleur en geur. Korte of lange tochten, er zijn diverse (knooppunten)fietsroutes gemaakt.
Holland pur! Rad fahren entlang der Blumenfeldern. Nur ab und an muss man einfach eine Pause für ein Foto einlegen. Und dann weiter zum nächsten Feld, mit anderen Blumen, anderen Farben und einem anderen Duft. Mit dem praktischen Radknotenpunkte-System können Sie ganz einfach Ihre eigene Radroute zusammenstellen.

The world-famous Spring park with its millions of tulips and special flowers is open from 22 March until 13 May. Keukenhof is a wonderful and bright outing and a major occasion, also for children. They will have a whale of a time, with the free hunt, a children’s farm, maze and playground. In 2018 is dit wereldberoemde lentepark, met miljoenen tulpen en bijzondere bloemen, geopend van 22 maart tot en met 13 mei. Keukenhof biedt een heerlijk en fleurig dagje uit en is ook voor kinderen een groot feest. Met een gratis speurtocht, kinderboerderij, doolhof en speeltuin vermaken zij zich opperbest.

4 3 This great, colourful flower procession consists of about twenty floats richly decorated with flowers and over thirty magnificent luxury vehicles. And, not to be forgotten, of course: the pleasant sounds of the many different bands. The entire route has enough space to accommodate the many hundreds of thousands of visitors. Pageant week in the Bulb Region starts on 18 April 2018 and the last day is on 22 April 2018. The Flower Pageant Procession leaves from the Koningin Wilhelmina Boulevard in Noordwijk and heads for Haarlem on Saturday, 21 April at 9.30 a.m. Floats for the procession will also be lined up on the Noordwijk boulevard on Sunday, 22 April.

A bit of bulb history
Tulips have a rich history, with their arrival in Europe and the Netherlands, the tulip mania in the 17th century and of course the story of the black tulip. You can find out more about the story behind the tulip in the Black Tulip Museum (Museum De Zwarte Tulp) in Lisse and in the Hortus Botanicus in Leiden. Did you know that Noordwijk has its own tulip? De tulp kent een rijke geschiedenis, met haar komst naar Europa en Nederland, de tulpomanie (tulpengekte) in de 17de eeuw en natuurlijk het verhaal van de zwarte tulp. In Museum De Zwarte Tulp in Lisse en de Hortus Botanicus in Leiden ontdek je het verhaal achter de
tulp. Wist je dat Noordwijk een eigen tulp heeft? Die Tulpe hat eine reiche Geschichte seit Ihrem Eintreffen in den Niederlanden, mit der Tulpenmanie (Tulpenwahnsinn) im 17. Jh. und natürlich der Geschichte der Schwarzen Tulpe. Im Museum De Zwarte Tulp (Schwarze Tulpe) in Lisse und im Botanischen Garten in Leiden können Sie die Geschichte der Tulpe kennenlernen. Wussten Sie schon, dass Noordwijk sogar eine eigene Tulpe hat?

More flower power in August
Noordwijk and its surrounding areas have beautiful blossoming flowers in both spring and summertime. This is celebrated with a flower festival and yet another flower procession: the Flower Parade. This procession departs from Rijnsburg and travels through Katwijk to Noordwijk on Saturday, August 11. The floats can also be viewed in Noordwijk on August 12. Niet alleen in de lente, ook in de zomer vind je in en om Noordwijk prachtige, bloeiende bloemen. Dit wordt gevierd met een bloemenfestival en nog een bloemencorso: de Flower Parade. Dit corso vertrekt zaterdag 11 augustus vanuit Rijnsburg via Katwijk naar
Noordwijk. Op 12 augustus zijn de praalwagens ook nog te bezichtigen op de boulevard in Noordwijk.
Nicht nur im Frühling, sondern auch im Sommer findet man in und um Noordwijk herum wunderschön blühende Blumen. Dies wird mit einem Blumenfestival und einem zusätzlichen Blumenumzug gefeiert: der Flower Parade. Dieser Umzug startet am Samstag, dem 11. August in Rijnsburg und fährt über Katwijk nach Noordwijk. Am 12. August kann man die Prunkwagen am Koningin Wilhelmina Boulevard in Noordwijk dann in Ruhe besichtigen. www.rijnsburgscorso.nl

Iedere dag is weer anders, de ene keer geeft de zee licht, dan weer is de lucht gevuld met sprookjesachtige kleuren roze en paars. Soms word je verrast door de serene rust van windstilte en een vlakke zee. Of je wordt overspoeld door verwondering omdat je een schelp vindt die nog witter is dan wit. ’s Middags danst de zon op het schitterende water. En luister goed aan het eind van de dag, wie weet hoor je de zon sissen als hij in de zee zakt… Sprookjes worden werkelijkheid in Noordwijk. It’s magic!
FASZINIERENDES LICHT Sommer am Meer… Das Meer bietet immer wieder magische und unvergessliche Momente. Jeder Tag ist anders, einmal spendet das Meer faszinierendes Licht, dann wird der Himmel wieder von traumhaften Farben von Rosa bis Violett erfüllt. Manchmal werden Sie bei Windstille von der sanften Ruhe einer spiegelglatten Wasseroberfläche überrascht, dann wieder freut man sich und ist erstaunt, wenn man eine Muschel findet, die weißer ist als weiß. They stay until the end of the day when the seagulls come and peck at the breadcrumbs while the bright-red orange sun drops into the sea. Ze blijven totdat de meeuwen de broodrestjes uit het zand pikken en de zon oranjerood in zee zakt. Die Noordwijker verbringen den Sommer am liebsten am Strand und freuen sich über Besucher von nah und fern. Bei schönem Wetter spielen dann Meer, Sonne und der warme Sand die Hauptrolle, am liebsten, bis die Sonne als orangerot leuchtender Ball über dem Meer untergeht und die Möwen die letzten Krümel aus dem Sand gepickt haben.

There are plenty of shops in Noordwijkerhout and Noordwijk, where you can also take a break and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea on a terrace. In addition to the above, the recreational possibilities in the area extend to: swimming, horseback riding, tennis, golf, fishing, surfing and other water sports. As a result of Noordwijk being centrally situated, a visit to the surrounding cities of Amsterdam, The Hague, Haarlem, or Leiden is a definite must.

The beachclubs on the Koningin Astrid Boulevard are just as popular and very much worth the effort. The roads to the beach, Duindamseslag and Langevelderslag have a completely different atmosphere, as they are surrounded by peaceful nature and dunes. Duindamseslag is even only accessible via a walking and cycling path through the dunes. You’ll find the ‘Hollandse Duinen’ ‘Holland Dunes National Park’ - near the busy Randstand, from ‘Hoek van Holland’ - ‘Corner of Holland’ - to the top of South Holland, right against the coastal strip.

There are many cycle paths and beautiful routes in the area, including paths through the dunes, which lead to Zandvoort and Katwijk. The cycling network has been extended during the past few years, which means that you can now very simply plan and follow the finest routes. From space, I saw an Earth without borders. Also boundless are the opportunities space travel offers us here on Earth.

How much time did you spend at ESA-ESTEC in Noordwijk, preparing for your trip into space? I worked at ESTEC for many years, but when I became a member of the European astronaut team – back in 1998 – I started preparations for my first space mission in 2004. This means that first, you have to do basic training abroad, but in between, my duties continued in Noordwijk. As the launch date approached, I spent less and less time in The Netherlands. Between my two space missions in 2004 and 2011, you could find me in Noordwijk regularly. But again, as soon as I was assigned for my second space mission, I trained abroad. Astronaut training takes place all over the world and I divided my time between Cologne (where the European Astronaut Centre is based), Houston, Moscow, Tokyo and Montreal in Canada. What do you like best about Noordwijk? Noordwijk is my second home. I have spent so much time here and I love the place. ESTEC is situated in a stunning location, bordering on the dunes. A stable foundation on sand is crucial for the precision work we do there, that is satellite testing. What is special/unique about ESA-ESTEC? ESTEC is a special place where people from many different European countries work together at a high technical level. It’s very internationally oriented. Noordwijk can be proud of the fact that ESTEC is based there.
What does your day look like now? As an astronaut, I am still member of the ESA astronaut corps and I carry out supporting activities, for instance, for a commission researching the best way to help astronauts recuperate after a space flight. I’m also a medical doctor, so this is my area of expertise. In addition, as an ambassador for Techniekpact, I devote my time to inspiring young people to choose science and technology. The Netherlands has a huge shortage of technicians. Outreach is an important part of an astronaut’s role; talking about what you have done and seen and pointing out the relevance of space. The Netherlands is excellent in space activities. Dutch space companies and institutions deliver top of the bill, reliable technology, ground breaking science and develop space applications for everyday life on Earth. Space travel and space activities will become even more important in the coming years. Space is part of our daily lives and contributes to a better environment, to improved safety, food security, health and a more sustainable future. It’s impossible to imagine our lives today without space, we haven’t been able to do without it for a long time now.

What is the best thing that happened to you while in space? The view. It’s phenomenal to be able to see our home planet from the outside. What you see is a stunning blue sphere in black nothingness. It’s just hanging there in a hostile universe. What struck me most was the fact that our planet is covered with water. On Earth itself, you hardly realise this. The amount of fertile land is limited, that’s when it hits you that we all have to live together on this planet. There is nowhere else we can go in large numbers. In my spare time, I loved finding a spot in the so called Cupola to enjoy the view of magnificent planet.

Hoeveel tijd heb je doorgebracht bij ESA - ESTEC in Noordwijk om je ruimtereis voor te bereiden? Ik werkte al jaren bij ESTEC, maar vanaf het moment dat ik in het Europese Astronautenteam kwam, dat was in 1998, ben ik me gaan voorbereiden op mijn eerste ruimtemissie in 2004. Dat betekent dat je eerst een basistraining volgt in het buitenland, maar tussendoor bleef ik mijn taken houden in Noordwijk. Naarmate de vlucht dichterbij kwam, was ik steeds minder tijd in Nederland. Ook in de periode tussen mijn twee ruimtemissies in 2004 en 2011 was ik regelmatig in Noordwijk. Maar vanaf het moment dat ik werd aangewezen voor mijn tweede ruimtemissie, was ik vooral in het buitenland aan het werk. De training van een astronaut speelt zich af over de hele wereld en ik verdeelde mijn tijd tussen Keulen (waar het Europees Astronautencentrum zit), Houston, Moskou, Tokio en Montreal in Canada. Wat vind je het leukst aan Noordwijk? Noordwijk is, na mijn eigen woonplaats, mijn tweede thuis. Ik kom er al zo lang en ik kom er graag. ESTEC is prachtig gelegen, tegen de duinen aan. Een stabiele ondergrond op zand is cruciaal voor het precisiewerk dat we daar doen, namelijk het testen van satellieten. Wat is er speciaal aan ESA-ESTEC? ESTEC is een bijzondere plek waar mensen uit veel verschillende Europese landen op hoog technologisch niveau met elkaar samenwerken. Het is heel internationaal georiënteerd. Noordwijk mag er trots op zijn dat ze ESTEC hebben.
Wat is nu je dagelijkse werk? Als astronaut val ik nog steeds onder ESA en verricht ik ondersteunende werkzaamheden voor bijvoorbeeld een commissie die onderzoek doet naar de beste wijze om astronauten te laten herstellen van hun vlucht. Ik ben ook arts, dus dat raakt mijn eigen vakgebied. Daarnaast span ik me in als ambassadeur voor het Techniekpact om jongeren te inspireren te kiezen voor wetenschap en techniek. Nederland kampt met een groot tekort aan technici. ‘Outreach’ is een belangrijke taak van astronauten; vertellen wat je hebt gedaan en hebt gezien en de relevantie van ruimtevaart benoemen. Nederland is heel goed in ruimtevaart, we bezitten veel kennis en bouwen mee aan het ruimtestation en aan satellieten. Ruimtevaart wordt in de komende jaren nog belangrijker dan het nu al is. Het dringt door in alle domeinen, van voedselvoorziening tot medische hulp thuis. Ruimtevaart is niet meer weg te denken uit ons dagelijks leven, we kunnen allang niet meer zonder.

Wat is het mooiste dat je is overkomen terwijl je in de ruimte was? Het uitzicht. Het is fenomenaal om onze thuisplaneet van buitenaf te kunnen zien. Wat je dan ziet is een prachtige blauwe bol in het zwarte niets. Dat hangt daar in een vijandig heelal. Wat me opviel is dat onze planeet voor het grootste deel uit water bestaat. Op de aarde zelf besef je je dat nauwelijks. De hoeveelheid vruchtbare grond is beperkt, en dan dringt zich het besef op dat we het op deze planeet met elkaar moeten zien te rooien. Er is geen andere plek waar we in groten getale naartoe kunnen gaan. In mijn vrije tijd zocht ik graag een plekje aan het raam om van onze schitterende planeet te genieten.
Wie viel Zeit haben Sie bei ESA-ESTEC in Noordwijk verbracht, um Ihre Reise ins All vorzubereiten? Ich arbeitete bereits seit Jahren bei ESTEC, aber ab dem Moment meines Eintritts in das europäische Astronautenteam 1988, habe ich mich auf meine erste Raumfahrtmission in 2004 vorbereitet. Dies begann mit einem Basistraining im Ausland, das ich mit meinen Aufgaben bei der ESTEC in Noordwijk kombinierte. Je näher der Start ins All rückte, desto weniger hielt ich mich in den Niederlanden auf. Auch in der Zeit zwischen meinen zwei Raumfahrtmissionen im Jahr 2004 und 2011, war ich regelmäßig in Noordwijk. Aber ab dem Moment, als ich für meine zweite Raumfahrtmission ausgewählt wurde, arbeitete ich die meiste Zeit im Ausland. Das Training eines Astronauten findet überall in der Welt statt und ich verteilte meine Zeit zwischen Aufenthalten in Köln (wo sich das europäische Astronautenzentrum befindet), Houston, Moskau, Tokio und Montreal in Kanada. Was gefällt Ihnen an Noordwijk am besten? Noordwijk ist, nach meinem eigenen Wohnort, mein zweites Zuhause. Ich komme schon sehr lange und auch sehr gerne hierher. Das ESTEC liegt in wunderschöner Lage am Rande des Dünengebietes. Stabiler Sandboden ist eine grundlegende Voraussetzung für die Präzisionsarbeit, die wir dort leisten, nämlich das Testen von Satelliten. Was ist speziell / einzigartig am ESA-ESTEC? Das ESTEC ist ein besonderer Ort, an dem Menschen aus vielen verschiedenen europäischen Ländern auf hohem technischem Niveau zusammenarbeiten. Es ist sehr international ausgerichtet. Noordwijk kann stolz darauf sein, dass sich das ESTEC hier befindet. Was war für Sie die beste Erfahrung bei ihrem Aufenthalt im Weltraum? Die Aussicht. Es ist einfach umwerfend, unseren eigenen Planeten von außen zu sehen: eine wunderschöne, blaue Kugel in einem schwarzen Nichts, die dort in einem feindlichen Weltall hängt. Es wird einem dann besonders stark bewusst, dass unser Planet zum größten Teil aus Wasser besteht. Auf der Erde realisiert man sich das kaum. Die Menge an fruchtbarem Boden ist begrenzt, und die Einsicht, dass wir es auf diesem Planeten irgendwie gemeinsam schaffen müssen, wird einem dort deutlicher denn je. Es gibt keinen anderen Ort, an den alle Menschen gemeinsam hingehen könnten. In meiner Freizeit habe ich gerne aus dem Fenster gesehen, um die Sicht auf unseren wunderschönen Planeten zu genießen. Wie sehen Ihre täglichen Beschäftigungen heute aus? Als Astronaut gehöre ich noch immer zur ESA und übernehme unterstützende Arbeiten wie beispielsweise für eine Kommission, die untersucht, wie sich Astronauten nach einem Flug ins All am besten erholen können. Ich bin auch Arzt, daher berührt dies auch mein Fachgebiet. Außerdem bin ich als Botschafter für 'Techniekpact' tätig, eine überregionale Zusammenarbeit zwischen Wirtschaft, Bildungswesen und Behörden, die Jugendliche zu einem Studium der Wissenschaft und Technik motivieren soll. In den Niederlanden herrscht großer Mangel an Arbeits- und Nachwuchskräften aus dem Technikbereich. Outreach ist eine wichtige Aufgabe von Astronauten; wir berichten, was wir getan und gesehen haben, und verdeutlichen die Relevanz der Raumfahrt. In den Niederlanden spielt die Raumfahrt eine große Rolle, wir haben viel Know-how auf diesem Gebiet und arbeiten an der Entwicklung von Raumfahrtstationen und Satelliten mit. Der Raumfahrt kommt in den kommenden Jahren noch mehr Bedeutung zu als sie heute bereits hat. Sie beeinflusst alle Gebiete unseres Lebens, von der Nahrungsmittelversorgung bis zur medizinischen Hilfe zu Hause. Aus unserem täglichen Leben ist die Raumfahrt ist nicht mehr wegzudenken, wir können schon lange nicht mehr ohne sie auskommen.

Since 2013, a Walk of Space is being created on Noordwijk’s Koningin Wilhelmina Boulevard. The first tile was one with Wubbo Ockels’s astronaut boot print. Since then, nine more tiles with hand- and footprints of famous astronauts have been laid. This year and in the coming years, new astronaut prints are set to follow. Some 130 young professionals from the space industry worldwide will be taking part in this prestigious summer school programme. And over 150 experts from all over the world will be flying in to lecture on subjects including space policy and law, space technology, economics and space start-ups. ESTEC is the technical heart of the European space agency ESA and has been situated in the seaside resort since 1968. In the weekends of 16-17 June and 25-26 August, you can enjoy the most beautiful operas in the most special outdoor locations in Noordwijk, ranging from a dip in the dunes to a private villa garden. 12 UNTIL 21 JULY 2018 From 12 until 21 July, KunstKlank will be presenting a special musical theatre production: ISADORA. A show about love, life and suffering, centred around Isadora Duncan’s life. This revolutionary dancer conquered Paris, New York, Berlin, Vienna and Moscow, and also lived in Noordwijk at the beginning of the 20th century. The production is directed by Herma van Piekeren and Jeroen Lopes Cardozo. Germa Scholten is responsible for the choreography. Bamboo pop-up theatre with music and dance in a unique location in Noordwijk, on the border of Binnen and Zee. 12 T/M 21 JULI 2018 Van 12 t/m 21 juli brengt KunstKlank een bijzonder muzikaal theater: ISADORA. In 2016 Noordwijk celebrated its 150th anniversary as a Seaside Resort. This was a year in which we proudly looked back at the traditional bath coaches and their lifeguards. Because in 1866 a visit to the beach was reserved only for the rich and famous. What was Noordwijk famous for before it became a renowned seaside resort? Noordwijk has a rich history dating back to approximately two thousand years before Christ. That is when we find the first traces of habitation. Max Liebermann Painter in love with Noordwijk Max Liebermann is regarded as the greatest German impressionist painter. The Netherlands was Max Liebermann’s second home. Noordwijk (Huis ter Duin complex) was his Dutch headquarter from 1905 to 1913. A total of over 127 oil paintings can be traced back to a Noordwijk location or area.
Max Liebermann Hiking Trail He can be regarded as the painter par excellence who portrayed Noordwijk Seaside Resort in the early years. A hiking/biking trail with 23 reproduction panels of Liebermann’s paintings are to be exhibited in 2018, exactly on the spot where Liebermann painted them. This very special trail will be opened in spring. In spring 2018, a walking and cycle route will be opened, lined with 23 info boards with images of his paintings, in the exact spots he immortalised them on canvas. Atlantikwall Museum Noordwijk A unique exhibition in a series of bunkers from the Second World War, situated among the dunes. It is also possible to visit the bunker complex on the North Dunes. Veldzicht Regional Museum The history of Noordwijk from pre-historic times to date is illustrated in Veldzicht. Also Bulbs, herbs and Blaarkop cows are the focal points of this museum. There is also a herb garden and a shop. At the Veldzicht bulb company you can see how bulbs are cultivated now and how they used to do it in the past.
In Veldzicht wordt de geschiedenis van Noordwijk in beeld gebracht: van prehistorie tot heden. Ook bloembollen, kruiden en blaarkopkoeien staan centraal in dit museum. In het bloembollenbedrijf op Veldzicht is ook te zien hoe het er vroeger aan toeging in de bloembollenteelt en hoe nu. Museum 'Veldzicht' beleuchtet die Geschichte von Noordwijk von der Frühgeschichte bis heute. Auch Blumenzwiebeln, Kräuter und die altholländische Rindersorte 'Blaarkop' stehen in diesem Museum im Mittelpunkt. Es gibt hier einen Kräutergarten und einen Laden. Oude Jeroenskerk Tower Oude Jeroen is not just a beautiful church. You can also climb the tower. A real experience! Climb the 110 steps of the tower of the Oude Jeroenskerk (Old Jeroen’s Church), which is 40m high with walls 2m thick. The top offers a magnificent view of Noordwijk, the surrounding area and the North Sea. Climbing sessions are held on Saturday from midday to 4 p.m. from April through to October or by appointment. De Oude Jeroen is niet alleen een prachtige kerk, je kunt ook de toren beklimmen. Een hele belevenis! De toren heeft 110 treden, is 40 meter hoog en de muren zijn 2 meter dik. Bovenin heb je een prachtig uitzicht over Noordwijk, de omgeving en de Noordzee. Klimsessies vinden van april tot en met oktober plaats op zaterdagen van 12.00 tot 16.00 uur of op afspraak.
‘De Oude Jeroen’ ist nicht nur eine prachtvolle Kirche, man kann auch ihren Kirchturm erklimmen. Die Mühe lohnt sich auf jeden Fall sehr! Steigen Sie einmal den Turm der Oude Jeroenskerk hinauf! Der Turm zählt 110 Stufen, ist 40 Meter hoch und die Mauern sind sage und schreibe 2 Meter dick. Oben hat man einen großartigen Blick über Noordwijk, die Umgebung und die Nordsee. In December, Noordwijk is bursting with winter activities and events. This time of year, there is plenty to see and do in particular in the authentic old village centre. Do also take a look around Winter Wonderland at Het Zuiderbad, where you can go ice-skating right by the sea! And let’s not forget all the winter fun to be had at Nederzandt in Langevelderslag. DECEMBER IN NOORDWIJK Zodra de sneeuw naar beneden dwarrelt, verandert het duinlandschap van Noordwijk in een klein winter-

De historische binnenstad van Leiden heeft in totaal 28 kilometer aan grachten en singels. Om over al die grachten en singels te komen heb je bruggen nodig. De Leidse binnenstad telt er maar liefst 88! Leiden laat zich vanaf het water goed bekijken. De Leidse rederijen hebben een breed aanbod in rondvaarten en arrangementen, maar je kunt ook zelf een bootje huren. De Leidse grachten voeren langs de musea, de Leidse hofjes en vele historische gebouwen met prachtige gevels.

Beach shuttle Hop on A free Hop on Hop off bus service will run in the summer between Noordwijk and Noordwijkerhout. This handy shuttle bus service allows campsite and bungalow park guests around Duindamse Slag and Langeveld to leave their car behind and travel to and from Noordwijkerhout and Noordwijk free of charge. In de zomer rijdt er een gratis Hop on Hop off bus tussen Noordwijk en Noordwijkerhout. Met deze handige pendelbusdienst kunnen camping- en bungalowparkgasten rondom Duindamse Slag en het Langeveld hun auto lekker laten staan en gratis op en neer naar Noordwijkerhout en Noordwijk.

Im Sommer verkehrt ein kostenloser Hop-on-Hop offBus zwischen Noordwijk und Noordwijkerhout. Mit der Einrichtung dieses praktischen Pendelbusses können Gäste der Campingplätze und Bungalowparks in der Umgebung des Duindamse Slag und Langeveld ihr Auto stehenlassen und dennoch unkompliziert und schnell nach Noordwijkerhout und Noordwijk und zurück fahren. BEACH SHUTTLE Also this summer, the free Beach Shuttle for beach visitors will run again. Thanks to this free shuttle service, you can enjoy free parking and transport to Noordwijk beach. So no more lugging heavy bags around and you also don’t have the hassle of trying to find a parking space. Obviously, the Beach Shuttle also takes you back to your car after a wonderful day on the beach. The Beach Shuttle runs every weekend in the summer and only on warm beach days during the week. You can also catch the Beach Shuttle at big events.
Ook rijdt deze zomer weer de gratis Beach Shuttle voor strandbezoekers. Dankzij deze gratis pendeldienst kun je tijdens de zomermaanden gratis parkeren en gratis vervoerd worden naar het Noordwijkse strand. Dus geen gesjouw met zware tassen en je hoeft ook niet te zoeken naar een parkeerplekje. Uiteraard brengt de Beach Shuttle je – na een heerlijke stranddag - ook weer terug naar je auto. De Beach Shuttle rijdt in de zomer ieder weekend en doordeweeks alleen tijdens warme stranddagen. Ook kun je de Beach Shuttle pakken bij grote evenementen. Darüber hinaus verkehrt in diesem Sommer auch wieder der kostenlose Beach Shuttle für Strandbesucher. Dank dieses kostenlosen Pendelbusbetriebs können Sie während den Sommermonaten kostenlos parken und kostenlos zum Strand von Noordwijk fahren. Also kein Geschleppe mit schweren Taschen und keine lange Parkplatzsuche. Und natürlich gelangen Sie mit dem Shuttlebus nach einem entspannten Tag am Strand auch wieder zurück zu Ihrem Auto. Der Beach Shuttlebus fährt im Sommer jedes Wochenende, unter der Woche nur bei gutem Wetter. Der Beach Shuttlebus bringt Sie auch zu großen Veranstaltungen.
