Sand Rivers

The Selous Game Reserve, at a massive 50,000 kilometres square, (that’s bigger than Belgium) is a wilderness on a huge scale - the largest, in fact, in the whole of Africa.

Set on a wide curve of the great Rufiji River, Sand Rivers Selous is both expedition base, and safari retreat. The lodge is small but beautifully formed, with an imposing mess, swimming pool, excellent cooking and careful, atyour-whim service.
