Thank you for joining us for the 25th Annual Bike MS New York City Traffic Free ride! We’re glad you’re going to be with us as we celebrate more than two decades of riding and making a difference in the lives of the nearly 7,000 New Yorkers living with multiple sclerosis. Your commitment to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society goes beyond just the money you raise or your personal connection to MS; it is also shown in the way you conduct yourself on the road. As you travel on the route, you will represent the National MS Society as a participant in one of the largest cycling events in the area. Please honor the following requests: We have been given permission to ride through many communities along the route; please be respectful in these residential areas. 66 and 100 milers: share the road not only with your fellow cyclists, but with cars, trucks and pedestrians. The 66 and 100 mile extended routes are open routes. Conduct yourself in a safe and courteous manner! Your actions on the road reflect Bike MS and the National MS Society as a whole. Unsafe behavior is cause for immediate removal from the route and/or from the event.
